3+4 May EU Server Huge Lag/Delay/Infinite loading

Since a few hours ( 3 may ) the server got huge lag spike, there is a lot of delay with skill activation and infite loading screen.
For the moment it's kinda unplayable, not alone in the case i've seen a lot of ppl complaining about it in the game

I tried questing with a buddy yesterday and he said he was getting so many lag spikes that he wasn't able to play. I am just getting general latency issues due to the 160 + ms lag, very lucky not to have experienced this rubber banding effect yet.

Lag is quite bad right now.

From skill delay to simply other chars warping around.

In normal PVE and Cyrodill alike.

the game is almost unplayable. I tried a few quests, 3sec+ lag spikes on bosses... I did 4 or 5 fights. It happened in each of them. I died two times because I was just able to move but without being able to use any skill.

I had a 30s freeze around 6pm bst, on eu server.
Could move but skills didn't fire, managed to re-lo.
Of course I was dead after log in.

i played in the morning all was fine, but when i came back in the evening of may 3rd - constant lag, relogging didn't help. ran update on AV software and did full system check just in case - all clean. im positive this is not my ISP problem.
-And yes it never happened before 1.0.6 to me. I mean all this "press 1 button - wait 1-2 secs for something to happen" thing. Both Cyrodiil and Vet areas (Shadowfen), both instanced and open world parts.

Do ZOS is aware of the situation ? Do ZOS event care ?
It's a pain to play on this EU server.

Impossible to play on EU server today, region Malabal Tor. It takes 3-5 seconds to activate a skill. And sometimes you push button and nothing happens...

Same problem here i can't play actually.
I can log in when i try to kill a mob got huge delay to activation and after 10/15 sec action just stop to active skill/sprint/evade/horse nothing work.I close the game and relog and the same happening again.
Loading screen are longer and longer

• Have you ensured that the following outbound ports are open:
  - TCP / UDP Ports 24100 through 24131
  - TCP / UDP Ports 24500 through 24507
  - TCP / UDP Ports 49100 through 54000

adding rules into our routers, wont save it... just bring the servers into EU. Did you knew that only 1 cable pass through the atlantic ocean? but my firewals does have it ALLOW in everything... its green.

Beside the fact that i totally agree with you it doesn't explain why since yesterday the game is a lot worse than before.

Oh no. Poor EU server. I went for US even though I'm in the UK (it seems to work fine..). I have nothing to add except for, I hope it gets fixed soon, and you'll all be back in world, lag free!

That's quite ironical that an EU player can play better on the US server

This has been a major issue since launch. I haven't played the game in weeks - probably last played sometime in march.

So i come back to the game almost an entire month later, i check all the 5 guilds im in, there is probably something like 5-10% that have even logged in this week, so many ppl have quit ESO its unbelievable.

Anyway, you would assume considering the population of the megaserver is so much smaller now, the lag would either be gone or at least be lower. YET its possibly even worse imo. Still getting massive delay when pressing abilites, or damage recieved from mobs.

Considering the hardcore nature of ESO, at least compared to other MMOS. where a lot of the mobs in the VR4 area i am in actually have more hp, and can do as much, if not more damage than me when i have lots of VR 3-4 blues, combine that with how much delay and lag there is at all times and the fact it can spike even higher at various times, to the point where i will press an ability to start a fight, then i cannot do any actions for 2 seconds, then the server catches up and im dead.

Like its literally unplayable, i've never seen an MMO with so much delay and lag, its the reason i stopped playing, the only reason im still subbed is because i forgot to unsub. I have average of 85 mb/s down 15 mb/s up on BT broadband in the U.K.

Also, the amount of times that i've seen that generic form in games, its ridiculous. 10 times out out 10 that i've seen ppl complain about server lag in any game, its been on the companys end. There wouldn't be so many ppl with the problem if it was on the players end. Most ppl just cba to post on the forums because they assume the company already knows of the issue, i mean its pretty hard to ignore.

I know this is more of a rant than a helpful post, buts its ridiculous that 2 months later a game can be in this kind of state, and the U.S servers are fine from what i'm told. Which is just like saying "screw you" to all the EU ppl. I'll give the game till the end of my sub, if nothing is done ill just unsub - like all my other m8's have already done. I'm the only one that you could qualify as "still playing" but i barely log on for 10 mins a day, because its too annoying to play in the current state.
