Non-Recurring Payment Methods - Available Again

Following the notice from the German good business agency, we decided to temporarily deactivate non-recurring payment methods (including paysafecard, giropay, and Webmoney) for ESO subscriptions at the beginning of the month to allow us time to review our account page once more.

In the meantime, we've received many requests from you to support these methods again as quickly as possible. After a thorough investigation of our website, we remain convinced that our explanations and descriptions are correct and comprehensive. To offer our customers the flexibility they expect from us, we are re-activating non-recurring payment methods.

If you choose to use a non-recurring payment method, please make sure you are familiar with the subscription models and payment methods we offer by reading carefully about them on our site and forums. Non-recurring payment methods are non-refundable and are billed immediately.     And they probably outnumber the people that aren't fixing the game problems 10 to 1...think they aren't even letting people get their HOLDING sub money for their free month (that was supposed to come free for buying the game)

    Lol...seems like you are the minority with being able to play the game without any bugs or problems at all. Does that ESO mean you work for the company or did they charge you extra to get a bug free copy. Do you still want everyone banned for life that has issues and complains about the game also? Or was that just in regards to server down time...which I don't have a problem with if they fix the bugs

    I agree. When I am having issues with my business I usually have the billing and legal department start working on bugs and repair. They usually do a pretty excellent job.

    We are thinking about having the art department give a hand at legal advice next.

    When consumers BUY a product they hope to actually be able to use it....or the irresponsible company should think twice before charging people for it. Seems like THAT should be main focus, that's why I thought they had beta testers

    I've read you last 20 posts and your mind is made up. That billing thread is weeks old and was explained ad nauseum. Not singling you out. You do that yourself. I'll avoid your posts in the future no matter how rude and close minded your posts are.

    Lol...there are people still with issues on there. And you did single me out when you mentioned me by name, just to clarify. But you must be on ZoS' payroll to sit here and defend the thousands of bugs and downtime, while you could be playing your bug-free game. I would like to have some bugs fixed after eight months personally...since I did BUY a game that has 99 problems, but again you aint got one

    Thank you Jessica. I'm a reoccurring subscriber so it doesn't help me but I know a lot of people especially ones without credit cards this helps.

    I would love to ignore so many people who complain about the smaller issues here also...but I think they are too busy working on the bot issue for all the people that have never played an MMO, never mind they just brought them to forums also. I haven't seen that before but then again I never paid for a MMO with so many issues

    Why for people trying to tell me to shut up and be glad I spent money for a game I can't play...nope never, how about you?

    I'm not talking about bots...which should be second place, but like the Devs said too many people complain about that so they have to get rid of bots before they fix known game issues that were there well before bots...do we live in bizarro world or does this make any sense?

    If your auth hold is still there, you should have called the bank to release the hold by now.

    Not reverse. Release. Each bank has a different policy on it, and ZOS isnt telling the bank to release it. They just state pass/fail.

    Legally, I believe US banks can hold an auth hold for 30 days. Business days.

    Call the bank. If the authorization went through and youre just waiting for the hold to be released, they can do that in 5 minutes.

    I never had an issue with the holding issue, just 81 pages of other people. But when a company makes you give them your credit card info and place a hold just to play the free 30 days you payed for it just seems wrong.

    My issue is that I paid for the game and not able to play right without crashes, hours in loading screens, and many other bugs. I would love it if Zeni just came out and said...Hey we aren't going to fix the game you paid for but just quit if you don't like it, like you suggest. Bet that would go over real well for anyone thinking of buying the game.

    I don't get at all why Arya is complaining about this. There are more people than not just enjoying the game. A lot of them want to be able to continue their subscription past Sunday, so it is good they have a way to do so.It would really make a lot of people unhappy if they had to quit the game because they didn't have one of these payment options available. (Well, except for Arya, who I am guessing will quit as soon as the 30 free time runs out.)

    I have stated before that I want to be able to play a game I paid for and was referring to the bugs that have been around since before the game was released...so I will complain that I still can't play MY game especially when most of the things in the Dev discussion seem to be like either bot related of working on new content. I like many PvP'rs don't run into BOTS in Cyrodiil but we do run into hundreds of bugs. Does my opinion not matter when it seems like all they work on is something that finally came out after release and not issues brought to Zeni before? And bots are in most MMO games but not targeting people in forums. Was this overlooked when designing a premium subscription based MMO after many years of prior knowledge?

    By the way think the score is Bots 1 : Zeni 0 last time I checked the forums (this score was formulated just from when Zeni took this issue seriously and the Bots score would reflect a much higher score if this was something they started from day one of the Hordes arriving)

    Except you seem to not get the idea that Zenimax is trying to fix issues.

    They just aren't, apparently, fixing the ones you feel strongly about.

    I made a few bug reports over the past 4 days; there was no way to progress in the Tormented Spire/Sadal quest. A summoning bowl wouldn't allow you to activate it to summon a boss character to kill for a key you needed. I logged in today and went back to try to summon Flamespinner again. I didn't have any problem with the quest tonight. I went on to two other dungeons and got the boss/achievement--no bots. I went to another quest that was bugged a while ago and used the ashes to summon the spirits of two ordinators to defend the temple. That quest used to be bugged as well; one fire wouldn't work and you couldn't summon one of the ghosts. It was fixed.

    I just bought a time card to extend my sub; I have a hundred days left, I'll have a hundred sixty after I add the card. I am having a blast playing, and I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt on fixing the game. They have shown me they are trying. It obviously won't be enough for some players who want instant fixes.

    You should probably leave the game for a while. Either Zenimax will continue to fix issues and improve the game so you can come back and play without a lot of problems, or they won't ever do enough to satisfy your standards. If you really believe they have no intentions of fixing problems, see whether there is some way for you to get a refund.
