Sure it is. Unless you think you can prove thousands of years of trading invalid.

Hahaha. Oh... wait. You were serious, weren't you. Heh. Um.

Yeah, that's not how economics works. Not really anyway. That's how trading works. It's different, and while the fields are related in the sense that trading is one method of distributing resources, simply saying "trading is economics" is kinda missing the point.

It's like looking at someone's rectum and saying, "damn, that dude's nothing but a giant ***."

Economics is the science of distributing resources. Trading is economic activity, but it's not "economics," as a whole. When you screw someone in a trade it's not automatically valid simply because you walked away happy. If you didn't know the imperial book was unusually rare, and your trading partner did, then he's an idiot. If you knew and he didn't, you took advantage of him, and no pretending, "but, he was cool with it," will change that. If neither of you knew, it still wasn't a fair deal, even though there was no malicious intent. You can step back and cry, "but it's economics", but that really doesn't absolve you of anything, because it's not, "economics," it's screwing another player over.

what is disturbing is that when we pre-odrered the imperial edition it was said multiple times that we'd have access to the imperial craft style account wide

    this is not the case

This is half true. Imperial edition owners are able to change any item into the imperial style from its current form. So while we may not get to craft in the imperial style right away (unless your character is an imperial) you can still get the look.

Don't neglect to think of the future. New skill trees, new guilds and new crafting profs will pop up. Investing your main or secondary character in all crafting professions seems like a poor idea when you have access to 8 characters.

The question is: are you willing to respec your crafting skills in the future to put those points in new combat skills?

Yes there will be new skyshards, new skill point quests and etc, but there is no way to be sure they'll be equal to the amount of new trees that will open up. As it stands, only enchanting gives achievements, so there is no real reason to raise all of them on a single character.
    Hi Olek!

And my main has almost 60 points in four crafts. Can make vet items. Missing Imp, Barb, Primal, ancient elf and Daedric.

    :/

Imperial was the first Motif I found, in a trunk around lvl 10. Definiely just rng, not zone dependant.

The motifs from Imperial on up are all located in higher level zones, however. You won't see them showing up in Daggerfall, etc.. by opening chests and such.

I have gotten only one, but it was in one of the beginning cities. Perhaps it is more common in higher level zones, but it does turn up in the lowest level ones.

I looted an Imperial for my blacksmith in Vulkhal guard bank just 2 days ago. Also had an orc drop off a level 4 in Kanarthis Roost just yesterday which I thought was odd. Did not realize they dropped off npc's but anyway, still looking for a second Imperial so I can get my clothier woodworker covered. Oh and if you make an Imperial crafter, you can craft in Imperial style without motif by the way.
