I played at a very casual pace and im VR2. If you play the game it really doesnt take long to hit Veteran Ranks.
The game will still be here so you dont have to try and beat it in the first month.

Some people play much faster and more efficiently than others -- sometimes 2 or 3 times as much. Some people also want to level to cap and see everything it has to offer before deciding whether to sub for a month. I am not one of these people (my main is 33), but I do understand them, I think, and I respect their playstyle. There isn't any need to denigrate them for playing a game differently than the more gradual playstyle. It's their game to enjoy as well as ours.

I am happy with the game world, I am aware of the things the ESO MMO has not got, which it should have, like a proper crime system and *cough* specific other guilds but I am sure those will be added in due course. I cant help but feeling though, that perhaps console ESO when it comes will be better than PC ESO [hear me out] because, frankly, the PC game makes my hands hurt, I don't know about others, but changing direction with the mouse...its distinctive, and useful, but DAMN it hurts a lot after 3 hours or so. With the console game when it comes, there wont be that issue. There will also be no issue with undesirables, as in the cheaters whom you know what I mean, as their online gaming access would be removed. Would a loot-bot creator be stupid enough to program a bot for xbox-live? Risking online access to other titles. No, I don't think so, because on the PC they just have to contend with the MMO creators. Their internet wont be cut for what they do here...but on console on-live...they have to contend with the console companies live community, and think, if one was stupid enough "please, that's £350-£400 for a snazzy new console please" Ah, loot bot creator not so keen to risk it, eh?

Guys... hear me out. This game just came out, it's been a month. You guys speed rush to the end game like your lives depend on it. Now you have to wait for the game to catch up. Relax, EVERY mmorpgs has these issues. If you went at a normal pace like most people that stop and smell the roses you would not have these issues. You have got to give ZOE a chance to work on the game before you start griping about quitting. It's been a month, I am level 30, I do pvp, I quest, I explore, I goof off. I have literally no problems. I've played mmorpgs for going on 30 years now. This is the smoothest rollout of a online game I have ever played. Games like EQ1 and UO had more downtime than uptime when they were released. You are the only ones to blame if you spend every waking hour in game playing instead of a healthy mix of RealLife and gaming as a hobby. Do you really expect 10 years of refinement from an MMO in the first month? Some of you started playing WoW years after it was released and so think because it was new to you there were no problems. Give ZOE some credit. This is a great game, so enjoy it. The game will still be here so you dont have to try and beat it in the first month.

The game Xp needs reset to a much slower pace
BUT
To do that you will need to add more content in EVERY zone to disguise the grind
AND
Judging by the SWToResque like service and stability of this game
That will beee........
Next Year sometime.
SO
Three months and
OUT
With your four R10 toons
Been VR's since week two of release and many with two in less than a month
I know no one will like this next statement
BUT
ESO will be a ghost town in 6 months at that pace from sheer boredom
Slow content added, stability issues, bug fixing and almost no end game with a good percentage of people there already
You know it will have to ghetto and by ghetto I mean
F2P.................!

They know what they did the same as others know that they are not playing casually. They just don't want to admit it, but that's another story. So how in the hell have people played 'casually' and not skipped dialogue and not blown through quests and areas and reached VR already? To me, you ad to have grinded or done SOMETHING differently. I'm to the point where I've done every quest I can that's not bugged, and now I'm grinding quests and doing public dungeons in Cyrodiil just to level up.
So all these people saying they've been playing 'casually' and are VR... Yeah okay. I've been playing every day for many hours a day (at least 5 hours a day) since the 5 day early access exclusively on one character, exploring everything, trying to do all the quests, collecting all the skyshards.... and I'm only level 45. That is ALSO with straight up skipping A LOT of dialogue because I already know the dialogue from the beta.
