this is why I hate PVPers

all they do is whine about how easy the other guy has it and hard they have it. Just looking thorugh the discussion list PVPers are calling for nerfs to templer and sorcerer teleport or the dk talons. Its why there shouldnt be any PVP just make the game without it. If you want a fair and balanced system that treats all players equally play pong. Otherwise SFU and just play the game. your going to ruin it with your constant never ending calls for buffs and nerfs.

As an avid PvPer myself, I have also come to hate PvPers for the same reason.

Never.. Ever...Ever look into a games PvP forums. It will crush your soul and leave your mind destitute for sanity.

What were you thinking man? Once you open the box of the PvP forums it can't be closed again. The beast is out. It will always be there in your mind... like Nidhogg eating at the roots of that sanity you hold so sacred. Woe unto you!...WOE!!

My biggest problem with hard core PVP'rs is that they seem to think that they are the majority of players and nothing could be further from the truth. The base of most MMO's is solidly casual players, followed by "hardcore" PVE types, and then PVP'rs are usually the lowest number of actual players.
What is written above are my honest opinions. If you agree then; "Great!" If you disagree; "Great!" I really couldn't care less either way.

You have any numbers to back this up or is this what you just "seem to think"?

Not necessarily disagreeing with you, just wondering where you came to this conclusion.

False. Even if a change does happen to make something easier to deal with in PvP, there is no reason for it to have an impact on PvE. Dark Talons, for example, could be changed to have diminishing returns on players only. Bam, fixed in PvP with no change at all for PvE. Besides, its not like us PvPers are the only ones who call for buffs and nerfs. If something is too strong in PvE, then it should be nerfed so that content remains challenging.

Couldn't agree more about people calling for nerfs. We need class skills that are broken to be fixed as a priority over nerfs or buffs. The Nightblade has the most broken/bugged skills in the game; and no werewolf doesn't count since everyone has access to that class. Fix Vampire and Werewolf skills after the bugged Nightblade skills please. Fixing main class skills should be done before nerf/buffing. Comprehensive list of bugged Nightblade skills

Please try to remeber it's not "PvP" players its a certain kind of player.. the same ones who are angry that a wizard gets top dps in a PvE raid or that event hough they have top heal parse they arn't on the DPS charts etc... its a certain kind of person wants to be end all in all categories, and not happy being a specialist in what they chose... IMO they use "PvP" to push the agenda, and wouldn't be happy in any setting they arn't dominating the spotlight(s).

PvP whiners? Go look at how many threads are crying about VR content being too hard...and I know a guy who was doing VR4 content last night...solo...naked...at level 45...with a level 35 weapon...

Point is whiners whine, that's what they're for, that's what they do...and to be perfectly frank I take sadistic pleasure seeing them do so...their tears sustain me.

Even then, it'll be "people who have played longer have an advantage", "people who are rich have an advantage because they can afford higher framerate or better network connection". You'll never get rid of it. And it's in PVE as well "No one wants me as a tank/healer/dps because XYZ class skill is mandatory".

Doesn't mean all the balance criticism is totally wrong all the time though. They really do have to keep making tweaks to things in some cases.

And just wait for the swarm of flies from the mummy's mouth you will see when that happens.

I think my dissatisfaction is from how Cyrodiil has been advertised by Zenimax. Get in at level 10! Be on equal footing as other players. Are you for real?! Level 50+ players own level 10 players. For anyone who isn't 50+ yet, you will enjoy PvP so much more when you don't get demolished in 2 seconds simply because someone is higher level than you.

I think it should be this way, but it's terribly deceptive the way its been advertised imo.

Actually PvP wannabes are the whiners. A real PvPer relishes a challenge. Lots of people claim to be PvPers but if they actually were DarkFall would have a huge subscription base. But it does not, because there you cannot escape and at first there was a huge subscription (servers crashing constantly), but what happens is the less skilled become sheeps, and eventually they leave, then the wannabe pvpers no longer have a sheep to go beat up after they get owned by the real PvP wolves.

The cycle continues until it dwindles to just the small group of PvP wolves, the sheep admit it was more than they asked for and the PvP wannabes comment the game was dying (they were just the sheep is the real problem) and they never got a chance to make a name for themselves (everyone knows the real PvP wolves by names).

The wolves stay and fight and the challenge is better but they miss the all the sheep and especially wannabe PvPers as they were the most satisfying to kill because they talk crap and whine all the time.

So the PvP wannabes come to the next game that offers PvP and still the wolves follow, they can't understand so the first attempt is to nerf the opponent, it's in their nature.

To be fair, nightblades ARE horribly bugged right now. But I still play one and I still enjoy it, I dont get where all the complaining is coming from (other than the usual behavior you see among gamers, and it's not just pvp gamers or mmo gamers either).

People whine, they complain, they *** and moan about everything. That's just what people do. They're spoiled by the abundance of instant satisfaction and privilege that society drills into the heads of every kid in the modern age.

you know, I am probably the worst pvp'er in this game, or at least pretty close, and I love it out there, pvp'ers should stop whining and just enjoy it, it's not like your losing levels when you die or that someone can loot your stuff.

You might be right in terms of numbers across all MMOs, but when a game like ESO comes along with it's large scale PvP and it's DAOC roots, don't be surprised to see a heavy PvP contingent here. I don't think you see less whining in PvE focused games either. For that matter, even some single player games have the "nerf this/buff that" discussions.

They never said you'd be on equal footing that would make no sense, a lvl 10 one on one against Vr 10 being on equal terms would be ridiculous.

It doesnt even matter all that much about the lvl. Just before the servers went down for maintenance Me (lvl 30) a lvl 10 and a VR1 were just messing around and some VR10 guy came long destroyed the VR1 so me and the lvl 10 had to fight him and we took him down easily enough. Its how you play that matters not skills or lvl, I mean most people dont block or dodge and just go in spamming skills and hacking away then go complain that the higher lvl guy is too hard.

Its the exact same in PvE same type of players just run in get killed then go crying for things to be made easier for them I really dont understand what happened to gamers we used to be all about the challange.

Their class is the king? I am focused on currently posting and arguing on balance of my class & build alone: A vampire DK using sword & board. It has ridiculously powerful (i.e unbalanced) abilities and extreme problems (i.e. ardent flame abilities relying on weapon crit instead of spell crit). I don't want things nerfed, I want them balanced.

The "Nerfing" term has grown out of hand like the use of the world "Literally".

Agree about staying away from PvP forums.

The majority of pvp forums posters try to get nerfs on any class that they are not.

This happens in every MMO and sometimes the devs cave in to the QQ brigade in pvp. I would advise the devs to steer clear and concentrate on game improvements and leave classes as they are for now.

I am a avid pvp players too at endgame and I play for fun and challenge not to QQ about things.

Hackers and bots and cheats need to be dealt with, some game systems need tweaking and some quests need fixing.

    Thats all for now.
