Which company is SE?
Its not good to go F2P, because this guy claims that... decrease the sub fee to half and implement some sandbox content, that you could add some micro-transactions... Add some unique treasures and sells treasure packs... Like the ones in Swtor (a chance to get a super treasure.. and stuff like this)... Add some more styling in the crafting, that you could EXTREMELY hard gain by playing, or buying it via ur store..
f2p, all people who paid, will leave
Well, Rift became F2P and isn't Pay to win, they make all their cash from cosmetics and the armour they sell for cash is really bad, can get better stuff from a dungeon/crafting lolstarkerealm wrote: »Its not good to go F2P, because this guy claims that... decrease the sub fee to half and implement some sandbox content, that you could add some micro-transactions... No. *** no! If This game goes in for the kind of *** nickle and diming that TOR did, I'm out. I did not pay 80 bucks so that I could then turn around and have to buy the ability to equip legendaries for 20 dollars. I didn't spend 80 bucks so I could turn around and have to cough up more so I could run.

That's true, @Ketobbey. (Shameless plug)

Wait... that came out wrong.
LOL -this seems like a fun game. "I am an ex-ZOS employee and I will tell you...." ummm... my contribution - I am an ex-ZOS employee and I can tell you that they are changing the game to only play on Commodore 64 computers as of June. It will be all 16-bit graphics and sprites. Ohh, and everybody gets a free in-game rainbow pony character that can solve all quests by blowing strawberries and kisses out their rear ends.

Most f2p models are like that.starkerealm wrote: »Well, Rift became F2P and isn't Pay to win, they make all their cash from cosmetics and the armour they sell for cash is really bad, can get better stuff from a dungeon/crafting lolstarkerealm wrote: »Its not good to go F2P, because this guy claims that... decrease the sub fee to half and implement some sandbox content, that you could add some micro-transactions... The issue is, he specifically cited TOR's model. Which was to just *** on the players until they coughed up cash.
He also goes on to claim that ZOS has laid off a lot of its Senior staff, now with ESO being as big as it is currently – least in the media sense – I would think we’d hear about any massive layoffs done by the studio.

you mistranslate what I ve said.. I speak about equipment looks and style... cosmetics. Not abilities or stats. I would quit also, if they added vendors with epic tokens or sell the epics. Normally when they do that and it has a price, or its extremly hard to gain... And they also offer it via their store... They put more effort to look and feel nice...
I would love to have cape's. but this game even if it shows videos and pictures with capes, I havent found ANY cloth with cape... And thats an example.. They could add some motifs (purple or yellow) EXTREMELY hard to gain ingame.. or sell them, or make motif packs, treasure packs.
