scheduled maintenance

why is "scheduled maintenance" today monday when you have already told us in a previous post i quote

"Starting immediately, we have changed the regular maintenance times for The Elder Scrolls Online, based on player feedback. The game undergoes regular maintenance to provide you with the best service possible. We have scheduled the following windows for this purpose, although we may not need to use them every week:"

North American Megaserver
Tuesdays at 8:00am EDT (12pm GMT)
Fridays at 8:00am EDT (12pm GMT)

i understand that mainenance is needed but you have given us the above times
this is a bank holiday weekend in the uk and we are gonna lose both friday which is suppose to be maintenance and monday today which is not

    They are taking the proverbial.

A case of take game time away from people than let them play. This is a money industry.

Remove access during the 2 bank holidays so that people play less and end up paying more. I bet if they could they would take the server down on Saturdays as well. Yes the game is broken but 1 day isn't going to fix it all.

An intelligent person would realise that in the case of bank holidays like this the day before and day after are better times. The greedy person realises that this is the ideal time. Another day off the first 'free' 30 days. In total my game time has diminished by 18 days and the servers have been down almost 8 days so far. Pure economics.

A ZOS staff member already replied to a similar thread not too long ago:
At this time, we are doing the scheduled maintenance one day early, and tomorrow's maintenance is taking the place of the regular maintenance on Tuesday.

There is a patch going in. 1.0.5. The German version of the patch notes are up. My German is REALLY REALLY rusty after not being used for 24 years, but with my very basic understanding of it, I can see that there are quite a lot of quest fixes.

EDIT: Aaaaand...English patch notes are now up.

Quest fixes (aspect of speed for one) and tweak to the loading screen so people experience less "infinite" screens.
The german guy is up early and posted the notes, too bad the english and french guys werent as zealous
