No, this isn't a rage thread. lol
I'm just curious what the actual process is for dealing with our in-game reports.
Specifically, what do you do when we report bots?
Today I found nineteen (yes 19) bots all running around together in Shadowfen (specifically in the open swamps just north of the Gandranen Ruins). They were on (what was for all intents and purposes) a fixed loop, only stopping their jog to kill whatever respawned in their way.
Before we suffer the trololos, yes, I'm sure these are bots. --Or harvesters or exploiters or whatever you want to call them.
Their names are(/hopefully 'were'):
-ghjjgh
-opper
-aasdww
-eessw
-qqvqq
-wwdss
-aauaee
-deeig
-vvgvv
-woeer
-chjjui
-ggmgg
-icsld
-tuanaa
-yuaaw
-wghyy
-sdfssdd
-qqeea
And my personal favorite: "hahaa"
It's as if that last one was specifically pointed at us legitimate players.
Not cool, man.
Not cool.
So-- what exactly happens with the player reports I submitted for each?
Do you auto-ban them? Do you have to make inquiries with account holders first? Do you have to have a dev go in-game and try to track em down for verification?
How long is the process?
Is there anything we can do to help? Should we include more specific information with the reports like exact times, places, etc?
In your ticket, it says "Please include whatever details you feel are important."
Umm.. shouldn't we be writing the details that YOU feel are important?
HELP ME HELP YOU.
If any/all of these are questions that you can't answer lest the exploiters learn your trade secrets, I'd be content with a simple "Yes, they get banned and good riddance" from you guys. :]
