They banned anyone that was found duping or exploiting a particular quest, even if the dupe was accidental. It was more than likely a script that read that it did happen and resulted in insta ban.
I can verify that this is 100% false information.
What is your take on their process of handing out bans? (you seem certain to the 100th percent that they don't have a script to insta ban dupers)
Pretty sure they have SOME kind of script.. because I got banned again last night.
This is starting to really test my patience.

I feel for ya, I am still waiting on a reply from the terms of service department for my account @ScrubyMcBubble since the 15th (almost 10 full days now) but it has given me lots of time to get caught up before my exams in a couple days. Although i've been waiting so long that i question whether they "lost" my ticket it is probably better then having them offer you candy just to steal it back the next day as your case seems to be.
so i have also been wrongfully banned. i bought this game about a couple weeks ago joined a guild that unknowingly exploited glitches, they made my character into a hybrid. had i known that this would have banned my account i would not have agreed to it. i also submitted the wrong email so i was not checking the emails warning me of the actions. this im sure happens to many new gamers on eso who do not realize that it isnt part of the game and to just randomly ban them is wrong. there should be a system in place for this and im very disappointed that i have spent good money and cannot play.
