I am posting this from my second account as my primary account has been banned. (Thank god I have two accounts and I can now use this one as a 110 dollar forum account, phew!)

Well, 20 hours later and I'm still sat here with no email, no reply, and the majority of my information coming from pure speculation on reddit and other community forums.

Yesterday I went out for dinner with my SO around 16:00 GMT +1, and to both my surprise and disappointment, came back to find my account blocked for apparently no reason whatsoever. So I send a ticket and await a reply... sure enough, no reply.

Before heading to sleep last night, I also sent another ticket requesting they contact me, and still... Radio silence.

I have paid a large amount of money for this game, I have subscribed for a lengthily amount of time and this is how we as customers get repaid? No information, no reason, just a general ban wave that according to many, has picked up more innocents than guilty culprits in the first place. (But hell, how would we know anyway? We've not been given a piece of information to say otherwise)

Sheesh, even an email back from the support with SOME kind of information, aka "Yes, sorry, we f*****ed up your account and are looking into this just so we can be sure you're not breaking the rules before we decide on further action, please stick with us" would be better than sat here being able to do nothing, with no ETA and no information AT ALL.

    They are reactivating accounts as they're getting the tickets; however, I received no email receipt for the ticket, nor an email stating my account had been unlocked. I'm not sure if it was due to support being down last night or not, but it's worth seeing if you can log back in to anything.

    I'll note I was affected by the quadruple CE Explorer's mails/Bank Bug issue which is what had flagged my account, no idea if you're in a similar boat.

    I've tried logging in multiple times throughout the day/night and nothing.

    This is a new account, one I actually decided to purchase because my old account was having some security issues and after having waited 4 days to hear back from customer support I decided it would just be faster to buy a whole new account rather than sit and wait for eternity.

    So far..

    - Money spent on ESO: 160 US dollars. (Not including additional cost of subscriptions)

    - Tickets sent: 6 (Over the duration of 6 days now)

    - Ticket Answers: 0

    Good times.

    "This account has violated the Terms of Service and our data supports our decision to action your account. As a result, we regret to inform you that this account has been permanently disabled and will no longer be eligible to participate in any ZeniMax Online Services"

    Is this some kind of sick joke? I am posting here because this seems to be the ONLY way to get your attention.

    Also, if my account was banned, why is my secondary account not banned? Surely, both should be wiped out should they not?

    They probably don't know about the second account, as you're paying twice.

    For info - you won't have been billed yet for subscription (they just pre-authorize the card, they bill the amount after 30 days). Also, if you account is banned they won't then take the subscription.

    You can submit a ticket asking for a full refund for the game amount.

    Haha yeah unfinal.. this is absurd, they make a script to ban people, ban a bunch of innocents, refuse to listen to the multiple tickets when they do send tickets, then out of nowhere just tell them they're banned and give no reason at all.

    I would ask for a supervisor review and a phone call to explain exactly what TOS that you violated.

    I have, I mailed them back immediately and requested more information, along with messaging customer support here on the forums.

    I got a customer support survey back from them, which is laughable. LOL.

    a lot of people got unbanned .. if you didn't .. you did something .. something that you should be able to put a finger on .. and that replay has sealed it .. at least try and find out why you got banned .. i would feel really bad for you if you indeed are innocent. But i have no way of knowing that.

    The account is 4 days old. I've never looked at a guild bank, never traded with anyone, never abused any bug or glitch at all.

    Yesterday I was having connectivity issues that weren't allowing me to load into new zones, and then wham banned out of nowhere.

    It's pretty sad how people assume one person is lying and a big corporation is telling the truth. It's far more likely they made a mistake in their crappy sweeping bans than this one guy is wasting his time lying to us all. Anyhow, OP, best of luck. I hope you get this worked out.

    After spending THREE DAYS messing around with the English support, I eventually gave up and on a final hail Mary attempt I messaged the German support.. within TWENTY *** MINUTES I had my account back, and a full apology and free time added to my account.

    So if anyone is out there having issues with support, I suggest you message the Germans. They get sh*t done.

    It's the same support system, it just gets routed to German customer support. They all speak great English, too.

    They banned anyone that was found duping or exploiting a particular quest, even if the dupe was accidental. It was more than likely a script that read that it did happen and resulted in insta ban.
