Character Can't Attack or Interact

And its very annoying!

Usually I cant move at all but I can interact with the world, but as Im mainly kiting with a bow it get kinda hard being "stationary" duiring boss fights..

I play nightblade/DW and use flurry - I get this a lot. It is interesting to hear what spell might actually be the problem, thanks for letting us all know so we can test/report!

I've had this a few times, but it usually sorts itself out again after like 30 secs or so.

Someone I know had this happening A LOT, and they managed to fix it, it was their GPU drivers causing the issue, so after a rollback they were fine.

Happens to me a lot not just on a Night Blade.

ITs frustrating and most of the time the esc esc or reloadui doesn't work..... i have even had times where relogging or resetting the client completely doesn't work.

All these bugs are getting to be an annoying game ruining frustration.

Same with my soccer. The crystal shard sometimes hit mobs without damage and sometimes does not work at all.

I pretty much will not be using Flurry until it's fixed. This bug has killed me so many times and it's not ok. As soon as I figured out what was causing it, I reported it in game and took that skill off my hotbar.

So the more I have played the more I have to agree this seems to be a duel-wield flurry bug. It seems under some conditions that the attack gets interrupted it leaves the character unable to attack at all.

Just about to log back in and I will submit a /bug linking this thread as well, if people have more information or know a 100% way to duplicate the issue please post!

Every time it happens to me (at least 3 times an hour), i just hit ESC ESC. Even though hitting ESC twice really quick doesn't take much time, it's caused me countless deaths since it usually happens as I pull packs of 3 or more.

I had been using /reloadui to fix this.... will test with "enter enter" or "esc esc" when the game is back up.... would be much faster.

/reloadui is not an option in Combat! This one bug has annoyed me every night I've played recently, so much so I canceled my subscription in anger.
If they can't get combat right what hope is there.....

Yes, I get this regularly when dualwielding, never when 1H+shield. It's a bit unnerving at first but a quick doubletap ATL takes care of the issue. Never been killed by this bug after I realised what was happening, but that may be because I'm a survival specced tank.

I also use /reloadui, even had to assign a mouse button for that command. And I get that a lot using 2H, usually happens when targeting a mob and shooting a spell but nothing happens, that's when I know that the bug will kick in.

Happens to all my characters, Templars, Nightblade and Dragonnights....Someones the weapons lock on will just "hit air" and the enemy takes no damage as well...

This happens frequently as a templar or any class that has a channeled ability. They all tend to "get stuck" sometimes when the target mob becomes untargetable for whatever reason. It's not 100% but seems to be the culprit most of the time. So many times I've ran around looking like i'm ready for a TRON joust.... Toggling character panel is the fastest way I have to fix it but in Vet dungeons thats deadly. Its doubly hard to determine if the cause is animation bug, a stun with no graphics, bar switch failure, or lag. Every time my character stops responding I have a mental checklist to fix it:

Try to interrupt, maybe stunned.
Toggle C
Double check active bar
Drink a pot
Yell on TS and ALT F4

It appears it may be an issue with any channeled abilities and not just DW Flurry.

Please continue to post the conditions under which this issue occurs and thanks for all of the feedback! Hopefully we can get the problem nailed down so ZOS can fix it.

Only happens w/ my NB as well. Been a problem since beta. Glitch causes any of the following:

• Can not use any abilities or melee but can run & block
• Can not sprint/run. Stuck in abnormal walk mode
• Can not move but can rotate and block

The UI usually shows each ability being activated but nothing happens. I haven't seen any correlation between specific situations except I'm always using flurry.

In beta my NB would get stuck with his hands in the air but could still run around. Was hilariously stupid looking. That aspect of the glitch seemed to have been fixed upon release however.

This keeps happening to me when I'm doing world bosses, extremely frustrating because of how the loot mechanics work. I get 1/4 of the time on the boss and everything locks up and I get a few scraps at the end.

Worst of all I'm a tank!!! So its punching me in the face and I can't use any of my cool downs >.<!

Edit: Templar tank, happens when i'm trying to charge with Shield assault and Ransack.

Or Ransack going into Biting Jabs. I let the animations play out if I can afford to.. sometimes when I have to quick block it freezes.

Welcome to the wonderful world of lag-death, you only think you are frozen - what is really happening is that the server is having the fight without you so you are dying without being able to interact.

Same issue here. Whenever it happens I turn tail and run while repeatedly hitting the esc key. Eventually it unsticks but until then I'm unable to attack with either my mouse buttons or with my ability keys.

Yeah, in groups this bug is more than annoying, it can cause your whole party to wipe if it happens to the healer.

Some have mentioned pressing ALT or ESC twice, in rapid succession, to clear the issue or opening an interface window (Inventory, Map, etc.) also works. I haven't played my DW character much lately and I've not experienced this playing my other characters.

I have this problem all the time. Sorcerer. No addOns. No particular time or skill used, it just happens, even when I have just logged on.

I play NB, but purely bow and siphoning, and this is happening to me, so I don't think its flurry.
