This post is NOT intended for people to complain or whine about what they lost, I'm in that boat with you. The purpose of this thread is to give the rest of us hope for getting back what we lost, so, if you've been made whole, or close to it, please post here so we know it's a work in progress.

    I just had mine restored 15 min ago, they gave me gold to compensate and very much adequately... thank you for fixing the issue!

    I just got an in game mail from a blank sender.
    It said something about we are sorry about your lost items, we want to help restore such and such but you are currently online. We will remove you from the game briefly. I had to paraphrase because, I got booted from the game.

    Note to CS at first I was worried it was a scam when it came from an unknown sender, so rushed to post in case I was hacked.

    7:55 EST Got an in game mail and was kicked from the server.

    8:00 EST Tried to login, and did so successfully. When I tried to select my character it said it was locked. I am able to log onto my bank alts.

    8:12 EST Email explaining that i was given gold to save time yadayada

    9:58 EST Character still locked.

    Make sure you aren't confusing the issue.

    The are giving gold, not restoring the slots as far as they have said. They give you enough extra gold to buy your slots back.
    The number one rule of online gaming is now and has always been, Never play on Patch Day.

    Yes I have! :smile: I responded to my old ticket with wanting just compensation for my lost slots a listed vaguely a couple of items I had. I was lower level so didn't matter much. I was awarded monetary compensation to which I repurchased my lost slots.

We wanted to ensure all possible avenues were exhausted before attempting a resolution. We have identified the cause of the item loss and this should be solved in the upcoming patch.



    In your case, restoring the individual lost items lost would take significant additional time. Therefore, instead of restoring individual items that are easily replaceable in game, we are adding an appropriate amount of gold to your account to make up for the lost items. Please use this gold in game to replace your lost items at your discretion from vendors or other players. We apologize for any inconvenience this resolution may cause, but we believe this is the fastest way for you to recover the value of your lost items. We hope find the gold we have added to your account a sufficient resolution to this issue.

    We recognize this solution is not ideal for some rare items you may be missing. If there are any unique or specific items that you would like restored, please help us by identifying those items by name. If possible, we will restore those specific items on a case by case basis. This is a lengthy process so we ask in advance for your patience should you request we restore a specific item in this manner.

    For specific item restoration, please submit a /help ticket, referencing that we have already restored your gold, and let us know exactly which item (by name) you would like us to try to retrieve. We apologize for the inconvenience this issue has caused you and appreciate your patience while we work towards a satisfactory resolution.

    Edit: Logged in and found just enough gold to replace my bank slots and enough to purchase an additional bank upgrade that I never had.

    Nope, not yet. Been a day since I send a new mail requesting compensation for the bank slot lost and a week since I filed for 2 tickets telling them about the bank bug.

    Yeah, I've haven't even got an email back from the ticket I sent before the last patch. I even added my ticket number in that goofy official thread where they said to add your ticket number if you haven't got a response.

    Doesn't matter though I'm over it. It happened, it's done and sucked, I've rebought my bank slots and moved on.I don't expect anything but if I get something great, extra money's always good.
    And so did many brave men, women, and beast fall to the end of Beta, never to be heard from again. All that is left, is whispers of the adventures they had.

    Also note that my ticket was filed on 4/13 so anyone who sent a ticket after that might just be a little down the list and getting their stuff soon.

    He is a fan of the Chicago bears. I guess nobody is perfect.

    I got a reply like 45 min ago, I got a sum of gold, for the bankslots, and an extra 10k for the enchanting stuff that took me two weeks to gather.

    edit: forgot to say that before I got the gold, I got an ingame mail, saying that they will dc me, in order to give me the gold. one min later I dc and got the gold.

    Rep solved the problem. If it takes longer than 20 minutes, I suggest you reply back to the email saying you are still locked.

    Nearly 2 weeks since I first lost my first slots, lost it the second time two days later. Still not restored nor any gold given as compensation, emails requesting an eta ignored by CS...

    However, general wisdom says to not repurchase your slots until you hear from CS. Ive been waiting a week now, myself.

    So yes, you can rebuy your slots and not lose then, but no, you shouldn't... I guess.

    I read the patch notes before the patch was installed. But I asked CS just to be sure. They won't tell you. That says a lot. It could be a lack of information or that they don't trust that the patch fixed the problem.
