Banned?

Artemys_Knight
I see a lot of members are making these threads, it just seems odd to me how this happened as none of my actions are in violation of the ToS. I've just been playing with friends pretty much.

I saw a few people mention sending a lot of mails and Falling through the world, 2 things that happened a lot in my regards.

For mail, me and my friends would swap item drops to help each other level crafting. We would probably send each other 20+ mails a day with loots for our respective crafts.

Falling through the world was also a notorious thing that would happen to me at the most annoying times. Which strangely enough did happen to me before this ban happened.

Edit:
So I'm seeing something regarding receiving a second set of CE items. This did happen to me, however I thought it weird and left the mails in my Inbox never touching them; As for Guild Banks, never touched those.

Hi, That's weird. I was banned today for absolutely no reason. Reason quoted was "Exploit" when i sent a ticket. Waiting to here more and appealing. Thing is, the last time i played (earlier this evening) I experienced the falling through the air thing and couldn't get out of it so had to log out. I hadn't had it before. I think they messed up big time. I really can't see what I can have done to be banned.

What seems to have happen is that several innocent players were caught up in the banning of thousands of exploiters, botters, item dupers, and gold sellers.

Honestly, they probably got fed up and took the whole guilty until proven innocent stand since there are thousands of people being reported and they don't have time to investigate if they want to actually take care of the problems the guilty players cause. They probably only check your account when the banned do an appeal.

Thought i should add that I also received 2x explorer pack sets. So far I haven't received any ban though. I did however report this via in game ticket within minutes of receiving the items on my first login after the items were sent to players. Not saying this is something you should've had to do.

Hopefully this helps narrow down the issue a bit.

Are you guys that got banned by any chance members of large trading guilds? Just curious.

I'm a member of a 100 member and 2 500 member trading guilds, but I never accessed the bank in any of them. I'm also a member of a smaller 20 person guild and the only time I used the bank was to deposit 100 lockpicks for new players to use.

I'm curious if they might think trading crafted gear in large amounts to deconstruct back and forth to be an exploit, or something that wasn't intended.

There's a chance the flying/falling triggered an auto ban from the system being used to stop teleporting gold farmers.

Yes, I'm a member of 3 huge guilds. One is always around 495 members, the other 2 sitting around 200. I'm always buying up any Glyphs and Ta Runes anyone throws up for a cheap price. I also have 3 friends I collaborate with in which we each picked a craft to focus on and send each other relevant drops (They send me all Blacksmith Ore/Drops, I send them Wood/Cloth respectively), this results in us each sending each other about 10+ mails a day. We also sent each other gold to help each other get the Horse mounts faster. However I doubt that's a factor as they are still playing and haven't been affected by this. As I mentioned, I never touched Guild Banks, didn't know about the bug until after the fact either.
