I will move on,as I suspect a lot of other people will due to an unfair advantage some players have.I suspect you want his game to florish, but with the cheater attitude you have,it will be FTP before you know it.that's all well and good, but what about the guy 3 lvls lower than me running around with epic gear in pvp? or the lvl 10 guy who has been buying the mats and has leveled his crafting all the way up? its not fir to the rest of us who have played fair.the only viable option is to roll the game back to launch, seeing as people have been doing this from day 1. chances are most people have either bought/used/traded duped items and the games economy and player balance is way off because of it. I for one will not re sub knowing every other person I meet has leveled their crafting and toon with cheater goods.
Believe it or not the economy can work itself out thanks to the heavy gold sinks and the fact that without the exploit people won't have the money for overpriced items. This will naturally cause the costs to fall back in line.
Get over it and move on. What you just described means very little if anything in the end.
So you only see short term and thus doom a game over something that over time gets less and less noticeable to the point that it means nothing?
it means something right now,and that's what matters..game has only been out a few weeks,if you rollback now, it will mean nothing later and everyone would be back on equal footing.
Yes punish everyone for something a few did and with something that will work itself out over time. Sounds great. I guarantee that will *** off more people, causing them to quit, than this fixed exploit does now.
Neverwinter did a small rollback (day or two) and that caused a lot of people to quit and that is a free game.
its not the fact that a few did it, its the fact that a lot of the game population bought and used items that they would not have had if the playing field was level. just think about that when your in pvp and a lowbie runs up to you with epic gear and owns you. it matters

I just don't get all the whining and bellyaching. So some people got stuff you don't. I don't like the idea of duping and cheating, but it happens because people are greedy stupid animals. Demanding ZOS throw everything out because a relative minority did this is just plain silly.
A) Every game has these issues occasionally. I have seen them crop up in well established games after expansions or item updates. Sometimes it takes longer to identify and fix than others. It always works itself out. The economy is not permanently damaged and the duped gear becomes undesirable as soon as the next tier becomes available. Give it time. There is little to no economy in this game right now anyway.Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't the ability to wear a piece of gear level based? So everybody is going on about people wearing gear suitable to their level. Maybe there are more than should be, but still, what is stopping you from getting the stuff to make your own? Obviously it is only unfair if you can actually wear it but somehow other players are blocking you from getting it. And how do you react to people who have earned the gear legitimately, or do you just assume that because they have it they must have cheated?
C) What the heck is wrong with people that get mad because somebody has something they don't in a computer game? You will either get to the same point eventually or you don't have part of the skill set to do so. (Sorry, not everybody deserves a prize for participation.) It's not a big deal - either practice and get good enough to get the stuff yourself or find an entertainment that matches your particular skill set. It's not the devs job to make sure you are always on par with everybody else.
As a side note, I have three characters - one level 10 and two level 11. Everything they are wearing I made or looted in a level appropriate dungeon. My materials were all either harvested by myself or broken down from items I looted. In now way do I care if somebody is wearing something they got from duping. I hope these bugs are fixed and the issue resolved but in no way does it detract from my game play and after reading through all this I have yet to see how it actually detracts from anybody else's game play.

We have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to abusing exploitable bugs, and those who were found doing so have has their game account permanently banned.
We want to thank everyone who reported this issue to us. In the future, should you identify what you think could be an exploitable bug, please send it to us in-game via /help or in our help center: https://help.elderscrollsonline.com/app/ask

Well just like IRL, the 0.1% have the means to ruin everything.
THE SKY IS FALLING, THE SKY IS FALLING.... Oh wait, 80% of the player base still has no clue, because this is nothing game breaking. Stop being dram queens people.

What will these people do when they will discover they have to pay an obscene amount of money to buy gear when everybody and his whole family is running with it?
the panical reaction of the community and threads like these led to this hilarious mass bann action in which seemingly 80% of the people are unrightfully suspended.
The reason for this is by announcing it early it gives those that exploited a much easier time of off loading their stuff (not simply transferring to one, but to many), making effective banning harder to do.
Vocalize frustrations is one thing. Act like there is nothing being done and nothing being communicated is another. Most people act like the latter.

Do you have any clue how guilty you sound of being perpetrators of these actions to us all?
& along with any ban or suspension would be a forum ban as well. i.e. "Deal with it through customer service, not through rants on the forums...
...& if you don't like it, don't let the door hit ya on the way out."

Nope, because the scenario you think is going to happen is impossible. Riddle me this- how do you get ALL the gold, players and items?

If I were ZoE; I'd literally be looking into every account that
1. Uses improper (english) syntax on the forums
2. has in any way bashed players for wanting the player-involved game breaking bugs fixed
3. has in any way flamed the forums with "Oh you whiners when I wuz playing "x" game this was all good & fine!"
& along with any ban or suspension would be a forum ban as well. i.e. "Deal with it through customer service, not through rants on the forums...

So you would throw resources away at the mere possibility of finding a duper?
Personally, I'd rather they spend their resources in game rather than in forums.
