The trick to get it to work isn't some video or getting naked. the trick is to understand the mechanic behind the update completely and get your interweb connection as brisk as possible.

Look up one of the sites that test ping. If your ping is 35+ then good luck, if you're under that then you should be good ( i did it with 25).

The other thing you should do is go up to one of the easier updates and move your cursor around taking note of where the update is valid. So that when you jump you know exactly where to aim the cursor to get the update. Also if you have a programmable button mouse, go ahead and bind the interact with the world (usually E) key to one of the those mouse buttons and spam it while you aim for the sweet spot.

fyi, I died so many times that all my equipment was broken and then some before actually starting to analyze the variables behind my epic failure.

When I mentioned the internet connection, I took it for granted that people who know how to clean up their connection. Some suggestions are TURN OFF THE PRON, maybe reset your router, ask your lil brother/sister to stop illegal downloads or whatever.. things of that nature.

So glad ZOS didn't take your stance on this.

Have a goodly ways to go before i can see for myself if this is truly fixed, but i really hope so. Got past it through sheer luck on my main character and that is just unacceptable when dealing with a progression blocking bug in the main quest.

Just wanted to let all of you know that library gate does not have a bug you need to light braisers there across in the wall near where the blue fire is most of them have npc's standing and place that you have to light is across from them as soon as i lite all of them quest updated and and gate opened. hope this helps all of you that are stuck as i was stuck as well did some research and found the answer.

Glad to read a testimonial that this is truly fixed. I can stop dragging my heels on my current alt and might even start another with that not being an obstacle down the road anymore.

Aye it is indeed fixed. HOWEVER. To light that last brazier you must find the sweet spot on the edge of that one piece of jutting out stone facing the target.
You will spot it easy as its the only real protrusion from the edge.
