Follower Bot?

So I was in Deshaan just doing some missions when a group of players I went past displayed some odd behaviour, just going from one thing to the next as a group often with some late followers who still tried to interact with the thing the rest of the group had just killed/collected... this looks like a bot to me... so I recorded some of it...
At about 0:50 they are clearly moving as a single entity to me.

Thoughts?

Personally, I think its a multi-botter who is using auto follow/attack bots. A standard multiboxer probably would not be having some chars go off on their own or get confused by you being near.
Probably a botter trying something new.
This is my Signature, but not really because I didn't sign it with a pen and its not my name.

This is exactly the same behavior I saw in Ondil the other day, a mass of chars, all dressed the same, same class, moving from one kill to the other in a repeating, straight-line path.

Hey, guys. If you suspect that a character is violating our Terms of Service in some way (including by being a bot), please report them in-game by either pulling up the character interaction menu with the "F" key, or by submitting a ticket using the /help command. Thanks!

If I reported even half the botters or gold sellers I see or get an advertisement from, I would be spending all my time reporting, and none playing. I barely report now anymore, since its obvious that its the same ones botting or advertising gold over and over and over again since the 2nd day of early access. Since I found an antispammer addon april 5 or 6th Ive had to clear out my ignore list twice since it became full.

Banning accounts is not enough, time to start checking out IP address ranges and compare them what ip addresses the banned accounts had or something.

Because somehow its still profitable to them to keep buying new accounts when the old ones get banned.

Very profitable...when you take into account the proliferation of stolen credit card numbers utilised by the gold selling industry to purchase new accounts.

MultiBOXERS are not botters per se, stop being ignorant!

Also, there is no auto-follow in this game so you wrong there too.

I see groups of those around every now and then.
    Always crouched when traveling.

    It's a multi-boxer.
Pretty sure they are using something else 3rd party other than the boxing tool.

Could be a simple broadcast of movement to the other clients.

That would account for the occasional slave running off in a wonky direction as the clients cannot always be in sync.

Broadcasting is legal in most MMO's as it is still a human pressing a button to control the character.

Frankly, running after a group of 5-10 players trying to report them all as they are continuously on the move is an undertaking I'll not be wasting my time on.

You should make a support option to be able to provide vids or screenshots out of game for bots/spammers as well as the normal in game.
There is still no way to report gold selling guilds either, you have to manually copy the leaders name then make a report.
I report every violator I see, but it's not always as easy as you suggest.

by the time you identify the lead and try holding "F" they have moved on,,, Given I see more and more botters, and more and more gold for cash adds in chat, I can't help but feel that there is little point.
