Main Story Quest Reapers March "The First Step" Bugged Blocking Progress!!!

First off, let me just say that having quests that are required in order to progress to the next area is a very large design flaw. But having those same REQUIRED quests bugged at various steps for various players is down right unacceptable.
I avoided every single quest that I could leveling from 1-50 because I had already experienced the utter cluster that phasing, mobs that won't spawn, interactive's that aren't interact-able, and the various other bugs that just about every quest is riddled with. So yes I have to quest through VR content because I am forced to, to reach all the VR area's.
And NOW my main story quest in Reapers March is blocked for the past two days at "The First Step" quest because I cannot drink the Moon Sugar Elixir as it is not interact-able for me.
And I am not the only person this is happening too.
You all need to get the main story quests working before making them REQUIRED to progress, it would save yourselves and your customers a lot of frustration.

Yep Here is what I have tried so far.
Relogging.
Abandoning quest and restarting it.
Abandoning quest relogging then restarting it.
Uninstalling all addons and restarting the quest.
Nothing seems to work.
And as Semel stated it is the second candidate not walking away that is causing the issue. I at first thought the cup was just not activating but it is the second candidate that is the issue.
Please help us ZOS.

Nothing. I just came there and it worked. There were really few players around in this area and I didn't notice anyone else doing this quest.
I actually managed to finish another quest in Malabal Tor too, where u need to kill the guardian beast. It used to not spawn but this time I relogged and it spawned instantly. I should note there were almost no players around too.
I think many quests bug out if there are many players trying to do it.0 -

Found some form of a fix,
"**The quest bug DOESN'T BLOCK you from veteran content**
1-Go to coldharbour by teleporting to a party member or a guild member there
2-Start by taking the "The Army of Meridia" quest, LOCATION bit.ly/Qs9Wl2
3-Finish all the quests now, they are quite many. (to finish "The Army of Meridia" you 'll need to finish another quest you acquire through the process, leading you to another, after you finish it you'll have to finish all the other quests up to the last lvl 50 one
4-When you finish all the quests you will acquire the lvl 50 Main Quest"0 -

Sorry man I am already in AD Veteran Content. This is supposedly the last set of quests before being allowed to enter the EP Veteran Content. The thing the grinds my gears the most is I don't even want to be doing PVE. And if it weren't for the SkyShards and the Lorebooks or this happened while I was already in EP content, I wouldn't even care.0 -

The text of my ticket concisely details that my issue is with the main story quest. And everything I have already done to try and trouble shoot my issue on my own including.
Relogging.
Abandoning quest and restarting it.
Abandoning quest relogging then restarting it.
Uninstalling all addons and restarting the quest.

No ZOS, I Cannot continue to the next Chapter!!! I cannot progress to the next area because the next area is EP Vet content and I cannot get there without finishing the "Cadwell's Silver" quest!!!

ZoS do something with the money you are basically stealling from people, you take our cahs but give us garbage in return.
Your QA department needs sacking completely as they are incompitnet, half the issues in the game have been there since BETA and bugged since BETA and you are doing squat to fix them.
Telling people to relog or abandon and reget is NOT a fix its a p**s poor workaround that fails half the time.
So once again do your jobs get in from Easter vacation and fix this pos game before you start loosing customers by the bucket.0 -

I am unable to advance at all, I have no option to go to the next zone, as the next zone is EbonHeart Pact VR content, and of course they have gated that content with a quest that has been broken for me and MANY others going on 6 days now.
I waited 5 days just to get a response from CS that they received my ticket. And the response I received speaks to ZOS CS not even reading the actual contents of the ticket. It's no wonder they are having so many complaints.
Gating character advancement content with quests is in my opinion probably an unwise choice given the history of broken quests throughout almost every zone within the game.
The unresponsiveness to these issues is just plain wrong!!
As I sit here writing this response, my character is in Rawl'kha temple watching several people complete the quest, and several people encounter the exact same issues I have reported in this thread.
At this point I am seriously considering cancelling the 6 month sub. If I can't advance what's the point, and I think I have been more than fair waiting this long for some sort of response.
