Cheating and Hacking Run Rampant

I really don't understand this ... why aren't there any in-game GMs. You could ban-hammer 100s of obvious accounts hourly with a small intelligent staff.

Would also allow a less painful way of getting botting/cheating/hacking incident reports to someone at the time. Therefore easily verifying and banning. There could also be some flags of rapid mvmt etc to aid in their manual search.

Why are there only CSR agents? Odd...

Hell have a few GMs to reset broken quest scripts too. Would take a few mins in each dungeon reading chat to identify broken stuff, fix it then debug report for future patching.

Zeni should give service in-game. Would give many customers confidence in the company and their investment.

This is what I have been doing. Yet, they (gold sellers), have one upped my move. My recent observation has been that they will have say, 3 low level (levels 3-12) along with a mid level (level 17-30). They appear to be partied together as they buff and heal each other. The mid level auto attacking can handle any mob groups you drag to the the bot group. While the low levels heal and buff.

It was my preferred method getting them out of public dungeon instances. Now I'll have to think of something else. Casting 'Gate' ala Dungeons and Dragons comes to mind lol. Such a shame we can't summon hostile creatures...

There are in game gms, they do reset broken quests. there was a post about a gm just manually fixing one of those bridge gates for the Vet content. but it is a megaserver and the gms can't exist in all instances at one time, and they can't magically be in the instances where things don't work/bots are present. it is not a cost effective means of running the game. they will need to rely on code.

If people leave this game, it won't be due to the bots. It will be due to lack of content for the ubers, and lack of support for game breaking bugs.

I will leave because of the bots and dupers. I cannot accept an MMO with a broken economy because of those two reasons.

Are you really that naive? Sorry to desillusionate you, but these guys dont buy the thousands of accounts with THEIR money. They use stolen credit card informations or hijacked accounts. The owner gets refunded and Zeni has nothing but trouble with these guys. Of course Zeni wants to get rid of this pestilence, and also most of us do.

You can be sure, if the teleport-botting increases, i WILL quit, because the major part of this game for me is exploring and crafting. If this ist not possible anymore and there is nothing to find, i will leave and play something else, until the botter problem is terminated.
