Enchanting taking forever to level

VR10, with 50 Provisioning, 44 cloth, 48 BS, 46 WW, and my enchanting is a whopping 16. I Decon 100% of all glyphs I find, buy, create. I've fought the urge two dozen times to give up on enchanting, but still grinding it out. It's ludicrous. The Craglorn mega-patch is supposed to 'correct' enchanting somewhat, but i'm not convinced after having read the current 1.1.0 PTS notes. Enchanting needs to be massively reworked.

They should just scrap the current system and make it like the other ES games. You "research" an enchantment on an item (just like traits). Once your "research" is complete you need a soul stone of the appropriate level to place that enchantment on an item.

I am focusing on both Alchemy and Enchanting. My Alchemy level is quite higher than my Enchanting level as well. You can use the keen eye skill to spot runes more easily, but this still doesn't mean you will have every rune you need, because you need three different types. I believe the link posted to the thread that stated having a friend also do this with you is the best idea in this situation.

There are alot of topics about enchanting.
There is no problem with leveling enchanting at all. It is growing and scaling with the SAME speed as Blacksmith, Clothier or Woodworking.
I repeat, it is leveling and scaling with the SAME speed.
The only problem is that you usualy finding ALOT more of Armor and weapons to deconstruct than Glyphs.
Enchanting was and is very expensive (expensive, not hard) to level up in any game.
If you realy want to level it up fast, consider to farm some gold and start to buy high level glyphs to deconstruct and level up faster.

Definitively not. You gain alot more xp by deconstruction an item from - lets say woodworking - than from deconstructing a glyph. Maybe by creating glyphs its the same, but not by deconstruction.

IMO Enchanting xp needs an overwork to be more in line with the other skills.

This is a completely false statement. I am leveling all three you mentioned (and make absolutely NO woodworking items, only deconstruct/refine).....Clothier and Woodworking are 17, Blacksmith is 16 (lagging a bit behind) and Enchanting is barely at 14. As I said I do virtually nothing with WW, only deconstruct and refine). I deconstruct, refine and research BS and C and Alch, making my own weapons, medium armor and glyph them all myself.

but are you find more weapons and armor than you do glyphs, just like everyone else and because you deconstruct less glyphs you level up the skill a bit slower than the others... just like everyone else.

Therefore it does not level as fast as everything else.
Drop rates and resource node finds matter when discussing leveling speeds.

Correct it doesn't level as fast as everything else, all players are on an even playing field in this matter.

I'm lvl 40, my ench is lvl 28. I can make purple lvl 50 glyphs, been able to make them since lvl 30 or so =P It is still painfully slow, but if you really want it, it's very possible to craft for your lvl and even above. If you want some fast exp, get someone to make you blue lvl 50 glyphs. THAT will move it quite a bit, I assure you. Trading those is a great way to level, too bad you normally can't craft too many because comparatively rare runes for it.
Now it's hardly moving(as in, pretty much unnoticeable at all) even from deconstr the glyphs I find though>.< Getting to Kuta is so going to take forever.

Oh, far as finding runes you need goes, farm starting zones. I farm Bleakrock as I'm in the Pact - a LOT of runes there. Granted, only Potency 1, but all the Aspect up to Kuta and definitely all of Essence can be found there. Then I only really need to worry to find some Potency in my zone. But the hireling helps a bit, too.

And I play with a friend, so all runes he finds go to me, too. It does help. But I'm sure you can keep up with your lvl glyphs even without that - just some farming and maybe some trading with fellow enchanters.

I wonder why people think they need to be lvl 50 in everything just after one month, its a marathon game not a sprint

Thats not the case. I am all for taking my time on the Journey to 50 but enchanting is like glacier progress. Its way too slow.
