[Issue] Unbalanced population in Campaigns

Yes I'm putting this is customer support because population unbalance in campaigns is producing issues for the low population side. We are getting farmed at spawn points and have never witnessed having more than 1-2 keeps. This is preventing the player from enjoying the game fully. There needs to be a fix in place or a word from the executive team at-least realizing that the customers are not the only ones who see this issue.

This issue is being worded heavily and is widespread that we can agree. What we can't see is if ZeniMax Online is acknowledging our concerns. So as a customer, I ask customer support to address my concern and acknowledge at least my concern is being passed upon to development team which I assure you is a widespread problem that is slowly wearing down on the player...

Thank you

Switch campaign. before you join a campaign you can see if they are balanced populated or not.

That's a workaround. I'm simply pointing out a real issue many are having. Of course I can overcome this by leaving and making it worse for the others that are sticking around. I also understand how guesting works but I put myself in a handicap due to how guesting limits your factor in ranking.

Imbalance is a problem endemic to players themselves. The majority of players will choose a "team" that is already winning because they want an easy victory. This has been the case in online games since online games came online. That is why sidelocking exists in most competetive PvP games.

So whiny and cowardly are the majority of PvP players, that if you even suggest they be forced into fairly balanced teams (in terms of numbers) they will scream and cry and quit and use player liberty as an excuse.

Undoubtedly one or two people will come along and post about how they are awesome and always play for the underdog (such as myself) but they are the exceptions that prove the rule.

Combine some of the low population servers but also create a system that puts a limit/close-off on a faction when it goes.. say 10-15% over the next highest faction number. Any un-active player after say 2-3 weeks? losses their home thus opening up spaces and the recalcuation of the population happens. That way even if a population of a faction is 10-15% its still based on active players, so we need to account that as well. Something like that which have been proposed by many other players.

Suggestions are welcome, I assume mine is not perfect but the system makes sense.

I wouldn't mind seeing players pushed into competitive teams. I think where it becomes a problem is with guilds, where people are heavily coordinating their PvP time, playing together, using RaidCall, etc. They want to play as one cohesive unit, and if you start moving people around to balance teams you break that. So I guess it is a question of which is more important.

I'm part of the exception. I really don't care too much if they don't even fix it but I can see it from my own eyes and what I hear from people their frustrations and I want the best for this game because I love it. I do think some kind of fix needs to be implemented soon rather than later or it can cost them some customers..this is why I hope this post and with everyone replies in support/suggestions of the fix can help bring the attention it needs.

That is not actually happening because moral is low on the players who are frustrated by this (I'm not part of that group)but I can assure you it's harder to motivate someone who died many times to zergs (even though its easy to avoid them).

i think maybe they could have gone with less "Campaign" servers to start with. Let them fill up a bit then release a few more. at this point, you look at the campaign screen and there are many empty ones.

90 days is not helping. Is there any proposed or pending action being taken by Zenimax is the question or rather is what we want to hear

Hmm I prefer a good forth and back fight between factions and not easy win or easy defeat... both is boring. Yes points and rewards are nice, but if too fast and easily achieved it is "BORING" as Sheogorath would put it ^^

Somehow a bit balancing should be considered... whatever that could look like.

I just want to hear Zenimax say on this.. that's all. We jut haven't heard anything and it's concerning... yes maybe it's a bit early but it's heartening to know that atleast they are monitoring the situation... we can't even get any fights to happen anymore in Dawnbreaker because no one is even trying.
