Missing Bank Items, Bank Slots, & Skill Points

    Based on what I have read:
    - In "a future patch" the bank reset issue will be fixed, so that it will stop happening to anyone into the future. This fix will not restore any items or bank inventory slots that people have lost up until this point.
    - The ZOS team is "exploring options" to return items, inventory slots and gold to any player that lost them as a result of this bug.

    Basically, a fix will stop the problem happening, but won't automatically return lost items/inventory. However we should get everything back eventually after the fix has been applied.

    That is my understanding. I am not a Zenimax representative, so I may be wrong.

    I agree with you Fransiscus. Trusting in the game developers is very important. Trusting that my game will not cause my character to become even more broken that it is, is the most important thing one needs to play it.

    I do not trust that logging in and banking any item at all will not cause it to disappear. Or that my unspent skill points will not disappear or my mount as other have claimed has happened to them.

    My main character can see about 30 items in the bank, my other characters see only 1 item in the bank. How can I use my alts to bank items for me if they cannot see them?

    The game is unplayable for me and my trust in the game has plummeted.

    yesterday after the patch i had 3 mails from hirelings. i was able to take the attachments and could open 2 of the boxes. when i opened number 3 it disappeared from the inventory. after loosing 20 bank slots and bank deposited gold 9 days ago, once an item which i unequipped, now a hiteling box, i am loosing my confidence in this game altogether. as some friends already cancelled their subs i consider it as well. this is no fun anymore, only annoying, a waste of time and money.

    Yes i agree this is going nowhere i just bought after an year another gametimecard from wow and see how strange my toon is still there and nothing is missing,sure feels good to play and only having to worrie about chinese hackers and phisingsites so i got me an authenticator and play worriefree my priest Fransiscus on Saurfang i think i will see many of you returning lol

    Has anyone respec n noticed skill points that remained spent, i dont know if i wasn't paying attention to some npc that might have granted permanent skills, but I have about 4 crafting skills that did not reset

    To the people that lost items in the bank slot reset, pay close attention to your alts inventories, I thought I lost my items but they were indeed in one of the alt's bag.
    In the end I "only" lost the bank slot upgrade money.

    @Elromir, all my alts are mules and remove items on a regular basis from the bank. However, my bank registered empty but for one item. I had over 80 items in the bank when I logged off to an alt to remove their particular matts.

    @ThatBAMF I also have been opening crafting containers and noticed a. they disappear from mail and do not go into the inventory or the do go into inventory but when I open them the contents disappear.

    My bank has been wiped and additional slots have been lost for a SECOND TIME. This game has little to no storage options already and I couldn't imagine the bank being bugged for a second time but alas it has happened to me once again. I have levelled 2 characters to 50 and have been focused on stockpiling craft materials to sell once the economy has matured. My mistake was trusting the bank... I have received the explorers pack items once again and I have not touched my bank since. I will not touch the bank at all until this has been fixed and a restore has been made. There really isn't any excuse for not restoring lost items as my banks state has not been changed since 30 mins ago and will stay that way.

    For those wondering why I even have 2 level 50's, my main was 'quest blocked' and was unable to complete the main quest. I managed to level a character since reporting the problem just so I can progress and play the game.

    I consider myself extremely patient however this has to be the most outrageous series of bugs I've ever experienced in a game and has potentially lost me weeks worth of time. Please respond to my ticket ASAP.

    I created a new character today to play and upon creation some of my previous characters items appeared in my inventory on the freshly created one. Those items were removed from my original character, as well as some items that have disappeared completely. When I logged back in at the bank I also noticed that my players bank space had been reduced to 60, and those items that I had acquired were gone. I had logged on to play with friends and with my inventory full I was force to repurchase banking space. Please can I have my original items, banking space restored, as well as the money spent on banking space up to 80 slots.

    Bank bug, only lost 20 slots back down to 60, lost unknown number of items, most went into available inventory slots. As far as I am aware I have not lost gold or Skill points but ?. Not sure if the ticket is still open, keep responding to it every couple of days to try to keep it active....but NEVER get a response.

    Some sort of ETA would be nice or even a response now and again confirming that i am still on the list to be sorted.

    Jessica this post of yours maybe an update on the info I was sent by email but as I don't sit in forums All day I was counting on the reply that stated last nights maintenance would fix this. And am therefore disappointed you still cannot even tell us when the problem will be fixed let alone if or when we will be reimbursed our gold items and bank slots. How about you make up for the total lack of support so far by committing to when the fix will come.

    I have canceled my subscription already as I have no intention of paying till this is fixed and would recommend everyone else with the issue do the same maybe then with loss of income they may sort this out

    Well, interestingly, my items have slowly been returning to me.

    First, a couple of the racial motifs I had lost suddently reappeared in my bank (and I quickly withdrew them!) Then, when I logged into another character, some of the items which were in my bank appeared on that character (I know I did not mistakenly withdraw them previously. They were PvP siege weapons, and that character is only level 7. No way did I withdraw those items on that character.)

    Very odd series of occurrences, but it looks like I have regained almost everything I lost, aside from the bank slots, which are still at 60 (down from 90.) I'd definitely suggest periodically logging in with all of your characters, just to see if your missing items start popping up in their inventories.

    After yesterdays patch my bank was reset, lost the upgrades, bank was empty and receoved the pre-order bonusses again by mail.

    logged into an alt, which still had items in the bank, so I was able to recover most of my items.

    I am still missing the 2K in gold I had stored in the bank, I believe 3 bank upgrades (could have been 2) and probably several stacks of crafting mats.

    Still not fixed. I did get them to change the flag from solved to 'customer reply required,' however. Though I might argue I'm not the one who needs to do something.

    Missing 2 bank upgrades - want them or the money paid for them restored. Since I haven't played since it happened, due to not getting ANY answer if it was safe to do so or if that would screw up any chance of resolution, I'd also like a credit for the days lost. 8, at this point.

    Missing items i can handle but fact i lost about 78000 gold has left me fighting for every penny selling gear i would have broken down for materials just to have enough eventually to pay for the 40 slots in bank they have lost. I should have stuck to my usual practise of keeping majority of gold kn main toon. But thought it was easier for alts to have access and put it into bank. The one place i foolishly expected to be safe. Now im back upto about 20k but as i want to also finish leveling blacksmithing will have to buy the rarer upgrade materials. Although i probably wont bother having decided to no longer play once free time expires if this isnt resolved so best zenimax refund the supposed test payment they took after i initially set subs up

    I got annoyed and submitted another ticket after they stopped well barely started in first place giving any updates on how /when this would be fixed. I have been sent 3 or 4 surveys on my CS experience in which stated why I was not happy with the response or Customer Service.
    Its like police saying 'hey we know who stole your car and left as a burnt out wreck at side of the road, but we aren't going to do anything about it as well it wasn't our car thanks' but hope your satisfied with that and we also let the thief keep your car key so he doesn't have to break any windows when he robs your house... HAVE A NICE DAY

    ZOS and its CS contractor is knee deep in it right now. And I refuse to pay for, what is essentially, Beta testing. Sub canceled, see you in a month.

    Actually... I unsubbed because of the game, not because of the Customer Support. Hands down ESO has had the best customer support I've ever encountered. Sometimes when volume is low you can actually chat with them in game about an issue or, barring that, they'll actually call you which I've never had a game company do... ever. It wasn't even offered, nor was GM chat most of the time.

    But... the game is flawed. Features poorly implemented (Bank space & Guild store functionality). Research is so linear and anemic it's painful - all crafting utterly useless until - perhaps - the endgame. There is zero wiggle room to make your character Unique in the setting.
    And their forums... Pretty much the utmost worst game forum I've ever seen.

    And they're not about to ask people why they quit. They don't care, they just close any threads people open to explain why (such posts that are intelligently composed and are not flames or flame-bait).

    So... I'll go back to D3, GW2 (with it's properly implemented craft system and minimal but useful 'auction' house), and WoT. Eve Online does it best, but I'm not going back to that job.

    And... the bugs didn't run me away, no. I had very few bug issues. Gold spammers glutting my inbox were even a mere trifle annoyance. But being forced to fill my character slots with mules and half of my time juggling materials... yeah, game killer. Leaving it to the mod community to make things functional (Thank you, Minion & Mod coders!)... yeah, game killer.

    I just read the post reference the fact they wont be returning the bank slots items or gold stolen by the bug in their game code... this is unbelievable and totally unforgivable .. people always 'QQ' about the other mmo's out there but I can say I have never received such poor service and lack of caring from any other game.. back to blizzards cartoon graphics at least bugs and all they always came through with the fix..

    @wolfguard101 My old WoW GM read about the bugs and sent me a text yesterday. "You done w/ ESO yet? I'll open a raid spot for you May 1st." Love that guy.
