Loving ESO

I'm going to go against the grain and say I really love this game. I know there are bugs and the downtime tonight sucks, but I'm enjoying myself quite a bit. To be completely honest, I wasn't expecting to like this game at all. I'm actually in another beta for a game coming out soon and was expecting to play that, but have changed my mind.

There is something about this game that really keeps me immersed. Both PVE and PVP. I think it is the classes themselves. The nature of how builds and skills work. Finally, I really like the crafting for some reason. Normally, I just skip it and try to get to max level first.

Anyhow, you folks have some angry peeps right now. Thought you might like to see another side of it. Haters gotta hate.

I agree. Having said that, we probably don't need another thread about it.

Nah we need at least a dozen threads of all the popular posting content!! have you seen some of those, man their like 20 pages long!! once a thread goes past 1 page I stop posting and reading.

I know that everyone else thinks and feels the exact same way I do.

I also am wanting to post about how much I am enjoying the game now that I'm not in beta. Things seem to get much more interesting after level 20. I remember the survey after beta runs used to ask things like, "do you feel emotionally involved with the quests/npcs?" I always answered with a "slightly." If they asked me now, I'd definitely give a higher rating.
This is all part of the game.

I'm with you on this! I really had no intention of playing this game but ended up grabbing it a couple of days after launch. I have to say it's grabbed me far more than any MMO that I've played in the last several years.

I work a lot and don't have much time to play during the week so I'm a little irked by tonight's downtime but cest la vie. I'm going to bed early and hopefully things will be back to normal in the morning.

What does this have to do with customer support?

It has everything to do with Customer Support, why don't you ask that question of the thousands of people complaining? They are not being constructive, nor are they discussing a problem that the support team does not already know about and are actively working on. A show of support to the ESO team is very helpful and can help lift the spirit of the customer support team and hopefully give them a boost they most likely desperately need.

The constant bashing all the kids (mental) keep throwing out hurts a support team in more than just flooding the forums, and hiding the real issues that should be discussed. It adds unnecessary stress, a stressful team does not work at their best. People who are enjoying the experience are normally hidden away, the people most likely to say something or leave comments are generally whinny entitled people who do not even leave constructive posts.

A positive post is a breath of fresh air, thank you @Colbane

Ah i feel the love!!!!!!! o:)
When some wild-eyed, eight-foot-tall maniac grabs your neck, taps the back of your favorite head up against the barroom wall, and he looks you crooked in the eye and he asks you if ya paid your dues, you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like that: "Have ya paid your dues, Jack?" "Yessir, the check is in the mail."

I have brought up several times when other threads(That are yes negative and pointless) aren't posting anything to do with customer support. Problem is there's thousands of them, so it makes a dent in what's observed.

Irregardless, positive or negative threads that have nothing to do with seeking support, just clutter the forums. The devs don't need to be coddled, they need to be able to see and address people's issues. These kinds of threads prevent that.

Not to mention, we are paying for their services, it is not our obligation to make sure they are happy.

I'm paying for the game too, and I feel I needed to post that right here and right now. Let the moderators that actually work for ZM decide what is or is not supposed to be in this subject forum.

Well you have just shown that you have never worked on a project in a stressful environment, that deal with a customer service aspect. Getting beat up by the children (mental) customers is really draining on a team. Even one uplifting comment can raise the moral of a team drastically.

There are other places where it would've been appropriate... Paying for a product does not entitle you to misuse the forums, it may not be as negative as other threads; but it has the same effect.

I love this game too. I actually have ignored Wildstar beta for that reason. It's the PVE and the story I really enjoy. PVP needs some work imho. Built correctly, certain classes can make most others look lolzy at best. Luckily, most players don't seem to know how those builds should work.
ESO and I are taking a break and seeing other people.

<3 ESO as well. Find myself constantly losing track of the time, to see its 5am and i'm still up playing. XD guess it's good to be currently unemployed, more time to enjoy this amazing game, despite the bugs. Which i can forgive the bugs, all mmo's have them. The the amount of content to be had is just mind boggling, and to think i've only explored my faction territory, coldharbour and a little bit of Daggerfall Covenant, So much more content for me to delve in and get immersed. Thank you Zenimax <3

Leaving out the fact that you are posting here as well, adding to a conversation that you do not believe belongs here. Why don't you just go away and let the moderators deal with deciding what goes were? Paying for a product does not entitle you to decide what goes where.

I have to say that they made the aesthetics of Coldhabour perfectly. The water/goo looks amazing, and the characters do a good job at giving you a sense of doom drawing near.
