Anyone else just lose all their stuff?

Got CE Mail again. Bank reset to 60, gold gone. Second time, both seem to happen when I get the CE Mail.

I guess it's snowballing? Suddenly seeing a lot of new reports of this problem tonight.

For me its just the bank, reset from 80 slots to 60, still no sign of overflow items.

Also, not sure how it chose the items to leave in the bank... lots of food, but not so kind with the tempers and such. Put what I could on another character for now. But losing 34k gold kinda bites.

Update @1023CST just received another set of CE material. Bank has been empty so no losses. So far no character losses either.

Went from 80 to 60 bank slots here. waiting for a response to my ticket.

I just lost every equipped item on my character after trying to load into Vaults of Madness dungeon. (it was taking too long so I alt+F4)

After logging back in the equipped items were gone and I was back in Cold Harbor

Personal Inventory seemed intact.

Just noticed it wasn't just my items gone, All my skills/passives are gone and I don't have the refunded points

I have a ticket in about this as well. After getting caught in a loading screen I was able to get back on. I thought something might have been up because my character was naked at the character select screen. As of now everything in my inventory and equipment is gone ( except for 3 steel ingots, which I didn't have in my bag in the first place).
Every spent skill point is gone as well, however the 2 that I hadn't spent yet are still there.

Yea I noticed the empty hot bar as well... Most likely I lost all my skills as well.

Did you guys also alt + F4 during long load screen to a dungeon? Maybe related?

I'd suggest people don't bother logging in. If this problem is widespread, they'll most likely roll everyone back 45 minutes or so to when it started.

Zoned into a dungeon, got a message that "transfer failed". I then began endlessly falling, while my character kept screaming. Next I got disconnected with a message that I had exceeded the messaging rate, and to not post so quickly. Now, when I get to the login screen, that character is naked. I've not been able to get in since.

Anyone here that had this issue fixed? I'm wondering how long it took to correct and if everything was restored correctly.

I lost my bank slot upgrade and contents about 30 min ago. I opened a ticket but don't feel comfortable playing until my bank is fixed. Honestly, if they cannot put things back the way there were or if they have to restore to an older point in time and I lose questing progress I think I am done with the game.

All items in bank gone, lost items & upgrade from 72/80 now at 3/60.

1. I tried to enter cave and waited over 5 minutes for load screen, never loaded.
2. Killed ESO process and restarted ESO
3. Tried to load same character, but received "Unable to load character, character still in game."
4. Loaded an alt character that i used to store items, removed a few items from bank and logged off character
5. Successfully loaded main character, entered and completed cave.
6. Went to bank with main character and bank items missing..
7. WAITING FOR ITEMS TO BE RESTORED.... PLEEEEEEZE!

Logged in again. Still no change. Got the mail that items were sent in, but not the items. Gold is gone too.

Created a new character, just to see what he might see in the bank. No option to skip tutorial.

Looks like the account was reset to NEW or something. Would explain the 60 slot bank, the no gold, the email with all the Items from IMP and Explorer... and the forced tutorial.

Just thinking out loud.

Lost all my bank items as well. I really hope I can get those back as I had a ton of yellow/green/blue improvement mats, craftings mats, and glyphs.

Add me to the list I had 90 slots reset to 60 and no access to the crafting items I had put in bank for an alt I was trying to transfer it to use

Don't expect a response or resolution anytime soon. I am going on a week with no functional response from support. I even received a canned response that the issue was fixed.. what a joke of support.

I assume there is going to be a mass rollback. Happened to alot of people it seems.

Edit - Including myself. Went from 100 bank space to 60, got CE emails, big mess...

A rollback wouldn't fix my missing bank slot issue because I reported it 5 days ago.

in addition to all inventory (the last time was able to actually log in)...all my equipped items were gone...also all my skill points were gone...not un-allocated...gone...still seemed to have the levels in my skills but no skill points...and both bars were empty

Yes it is - congrats! You got hit with the 'your account got reset back to default configs' that a few thousand others have gotten.

If you had more than 60 items in your bank, the next person you log in will get the excess items moved to your inventory.

If you don't have the space for it, the items will vanish into the void.

No ETA on fixing this. And yes, it WILL happen again, so don't put more money into your bank storage trying to expand it again.
