Zenimax Dungeon chests need to when opened be rollled for by entire group need or greed like/MMO's

Let's face it guys, this game as it is now, is far from any MMO concept.

The group dungeon's replayability is out of the question as they give you close to 0 xp and loot. The quests in them are most of them bugged or they get bugged pretty easily. And the group tools don't work the way they are meant to as they keep us from regroup as seen in the Force's video.

The holy trinity concept and its related tactics is really distorted here.
Without the experience that one gets from playing group content while leveling, how the hell will one know how to perform his role?

I agree with Ahnuk, his post summarizes all my concerns.

Especially that we are now lacking opportunities to develop player skill with group scenarios like dungeons.

I have to agree, when a chest opens all should get a roll for the items. So annoying to have that troll subpar dps scouting the dungeon while the tank/heals carry the group through.

I have been fortunate to run into a group that takes turns looting the chests, while the rest have been "finder keepers", a common response from a dps.

Please also use the in game /feedback to get this through.

    Hey Wolfpaw,

Hopefully this issue with the chests is going to be fixed with the upcoming patch.

"Dungeon Treasure Chests – Based on feedback, we are changing treasure chests in instanced dungeons so that everyone gets a piece of loot regardless of who opens the chest. This change is currently being implemented and tested internally and will be released in a future patch as soon as it’s ready. Watch the patch notes for the news."

    Great news!

    > Maybe someone can draft up an etiquette guide and at the end of every dungeon, people can trade 1 for 1 for items. Doesn't stop the trolls, but would allow a nice group to share items (I've only been in groups with nice people so far).

This sounds like you need a guild? In our guild runs we take turns at chests as we come across them and loot is often traded based on need during the run. Most guilds have similar guides / policies for loot etiquette I'd think. - M.

I could definitely use a guild. I play with my wife, so we are guaranteed at least a few good things between us, but I think there are probably a lot of guildless people who don't know "etiquette" (this is my first MMO).

I agree they need to change the way chests distribute loot and I am pleased to find out they are doing something about it. I give them props for listening to the community!
