Keys, keys, keys... foolish game design.
The game creator says that a key is needed to play the season.

What is the point of making players suffer?
Is suffering necessary for enjoyment?

I simply cannot understand the fun in the "Keys Online" created by game developers.

    in case you were unaware
    - you do not need these keys for anything besides the Nowhere Vault
    - Nowhere Vault releases on September 28 as part of update 51, more than a month away.
    - you can get them in the future too.
    - you can get them from the 10th and 20th Favours, so guaranteed 6 keys.

Why do we need so many different currencies, does no one else find yet another system to tiresome?

No, why would multiple currencies be tiresome? Different activities have different currencies so that we are rewarded for doing those activities and we don't get to skip doing the activities if we want the rewards from them.

Currencies are a part of certain gameplay loops, which wouldn't be the same if they were removed or replaced with a more common currency.

It's not a Currency, for one.

For another, if all the rewards you can purchase for various things were for Gold, it would be WAY too much and people would complain about never having enough Gold for anything, let alone buying things like:

    Items from Rolis
    Items from Faustina
Items from the Fliers in IA
Items from the TV Merchants in IC
Items from the Trophy Rooms in IC
Items from various Merchants in Cyro
    Items from the Undaunted Vendor
    Items from the Script Vendor
    Items from the Lux Vendor
    Items from the Golden Vendor
Items from the Furnishing Vendors (including Achievement ones)
    Using Gold for Transmuting/Reconning
Items from the Impressario and other Event Vendors
    Items from the Bazaar

There are already a number of things one has to buy with Gold. Using different Currencies for different rewards prevents a single Currency from being overburdened and split too thinly for buying things. I personally don't really understand how people are frustrated over the Currencies myself, either, because you don't actively have to keep track of them. If you want to know how much you have you only have to check one spot in your character menu. Unless it's because people are upset that they have to do X activity to get Y Currency for X reward, in which case...eh? Aren't there always people saying if you want to have something then suck it up and deal with the thing you don't like, or deal with not having the rewards?

I simply cannot understand the fun in the "Keys Online" created by game developers.

I simply cannot understand the obsession with collecting something which has absolutely no use for another eight-ish weeks. Even the Tome challenge runs for almost 12 more weeks. I have picked up one key from a Thieves Troves, one key from a Safebox, five keys from Freerunner boards (I'll get a sixth pretty quickly now that Arabelle has been fixed), and however many my other characters can collect from Freerunner stuff between now and U51.

After U51, and assuming that PTS drop rates remain into the live servers, I've picked up two keys from delve bosses, three keys from Thieves Troves, two keys from within the Sage's Vault itself, and probably five or six from Rumors and that's over the course of a handful of days playing single characters while testing those upcoming systems without even checking the other drop sources (Heists, World Bosses, Treasure Chests, Dynamic Encounters, and Solo Dungeons).
I'm fresh out of outrage, but I could muster up some amused annoyance if required.
