Redeemable Codes Not Working?

I picked up my physical copy of the imperial edition yesterday afternoon. It is one day after release, and when I try to put in the code for the explorer's pack I get an error saying that "This product requires The Elder Scrolls Online". I've been in beta and in the 5 day early access, so I didn't need to download the physical CD's, so I am a little confused as to what that means. Any help, resolution, or comments would be greatly appreciated.

I bought the game from Amazon and entered the game code they sent me to enable early access. I've now tried to enter the explorer pack code and got the same message as the op - need the elder scrolls game. I had a go at following your advice and tried entering the game code again, but it's not accepting it a second time. I guess I'll have to contact support.

Not the early acces one you've received from Amazon, but this "paper" one from the box! Look for the game guide in the box. It's the one that has The Elder Scrolls Online logo on front, and a picture showing you the controls for the game. On the back of that booklet is the code for registering the copy of the game. Once you put that in, you can put in the other codes as well.-Brewdie the Bulwark1 -
Temerity✭Thanks Brewdie. I saw the code for the Explorer's pack and never thought to look for another one. Managed to enter the game code and now stuck on the subscription page (not accepting dates of birth) but hey ***, progress has been made! cheers for the help0
