Element Guardians Quest: Curing Wyrd Tree

All of the elemental guardians are speaking German (Deutch). In the beta they were in English. Problem is you need to rely on their words in the final fight to know who to run to for defense. I don't speak German and had to do quick glances during combat, but I know it shouldn't work this way.

Why in the world are they speaking German in the first place. Everything else is in English. If only the game would allow you to have subtitles/chat bubbles as an option. For now, although I haven't had it enabled before this issue occurred, so I can't tell if it actually will help, I can only recommend going into the Options for the chat panel, by pressing the cogwheel on the top right of the chat window, and from there enabling the NPC dialogue in chat. With some luck, I'd hope the German voices are still written in English like the dialogue you have with them up close and personal.

In NPC chat channel dialogue IS written in english. But it's too late to turn it on if you do it after a logout (for the Wyrd Tree questline), since all dialogue wipes at logout. Someone should post a screenshot of final dialogue or put spoiler here...

I noticed this as well. I just had to ignore them and hope for the best in the final battle in that scene, died a few times and then managed it.

I can't recall them saying anything after that final fight in the tree. During the battle they said come to me, I'll protect you, and mentioning their elements, but that's about it. There was a small dialogue afterwards in English however. I relied on looking for the "beam of light" on each of the Guardians more than anything else.

I missed that beam of light. I fought him with range standing outside the water. When he pulled me to him I knew I had to use an interrupt as I backed up to my spot outside the water.

I hear block works too.

Yup, that's what I'm talking about. During the final battle, they still say stuff, it's just in German, so I can't tell what element to run to. I know it should be in English, but, it's not. I was able to get by by going to third person and looking around when he drew me close.

Speaking German here too. NA server. It's a real pain.
