I agree. I did qualify my statement that I inferred the daily login rewards to be an added incentive, as in a little extra.
For the most part I agree that the GPs are ok for rewarding play. That said, however, both the GPs and the endeavors have lots of room for improvement

But to insinuate that ZOS is making the player's job difficult or miserable by heaping on unwanted items is a bit much. Claiming the rewards is optional. But even if you're a completionist, then a second of your time once a day to clicky on Destroy isn't exactly hard labor.
Allowing us to trade garbage items for 1 gem wouldn't exactly be hard labor either. Allowing us to sell them to a vendor for 1g wouldn't be hard labor. Just adding a SKIP day button, so we could bypass days to get to the next wouldn't be hard labor.

Even though I don't usually expect much from the daily rewards, these past 2 months' rewards have been rather boring.
i cannot wait to find out what the Undaunted event pursuits have
Not even tri pots this month.

I'm looking forward to it!I hope it's friggin awesome and something that takes a lot of work! Undaunted events are based around grouping for dungeon diving, and I really hope they really lean into it without fear of taking heat from players reluctant to participate.

How did you get the idea, they shall generate real money currency for free stuff? That's beyond me, sorry.
For gold, hm, yeah, maybe, but i don't know how easy or not that would be to implement. No clue.
But a skip-button, i'm pretty sure, would flood the support all the time with "mimimi", like "ahhh, accidently skipped the tri-pots, pleeeeease help me...". If that's not hard labor, then what?
Anyway, for me it's not a real issue. But i'm missing the 10-year-celebration-structure of the login rewards a bit, too.
What's the reason for this, for example:BretonMage wrote: »That's two months in a row they didn't include a "special" reward in the middle of the month. So for me personal i would find it great, if there would be 3 specials a month (like housing items, collectibles, emotes, whatever), some seals of endeavor and maybe 2 crates.
Tri-pots and chicken are a must, i think. Golden mats also.
Other potions don't need to be in such masses, but i'm sure, there are other opinions out there.
However, this month is a bit flat, tri-pots are maybe just an oversight (double poison?), but it's not that bad for free.
As a reminder, this month:Would have found more interesting for example like this:
And, of course, 1 or 2 times a year a bunch of 100.000 of gold, Tel'Var and or green alliance bucks. Thank you.

i expect Pursuits that require playing dungeons which is fine and should happen.
but i just hope there will not be pursuits that require being grouped.

Neither tri pots, nor chicken

You spoke about generating gems, a real money currency. Seals of Endevour are not, that's a difference. There are reasons why they existing.Vonnegut2506 wrote: »[...]
You mean like generating real money currency i.e. Seals of Endeavor for free by finishing one daily quest?

"To get something out of" is another totally different thing. As i stated, i'm with you, if that "wouldn't be hard labor". But i guess, it's not that easy.Vonnegut2506 wrote: »[...]
Star Wars the Old Republic has even worse daily login rewards than this game. The big difference: All of the garbage can be sold to the vendors so you at least get something out of it instead of the fun mini-game of delete and CONFIRM.

when i'm feeling to lazy to DESTROY things, i just mark it as junk and then throw away the junk ^.^ no confirmation needed

Yes, tri-pots are useful. But at this point, the guild stores are chock full of them and I don’t know a single long-time player who can’t craft them.
Also, think about the community response whenever some limited-time item gets thrown out there as a mundane reward. People get mad because they “earned it” and others won’t.
