Battlegrounds transform chaos: Non transformative Chaosball provides 10 points per tick vs 3 points.

why is this? It's easier to protect a ball when not transformed.

    My guess is they vastly overestimated how powerful the monster balls would be. Instead you get turned into a giant target dummy that dies helplessly unless you immediately glue yourself to a healer (still helpless, just alive longer). Wrong direction, the game needs more incentive to split, not yet more incentive to stack in a ball group.

    The wolf can't even sprint or roll. Their big tooltip attacks are all hard telegraphed and hard countered by simply holding block, if you can even figure out what they do, not like you can pause PvP to read skill cards. Holding the monster ball is a massive nerf compared to any competitive minmax build. Half the lobby actively avoids picking them up.

    Also like uh. They put vamp mist on button 1. What? Why? How?

    Should transform into scamps.
    This recent update has made me sad. Sad for the game. Sad for the community. Sad to pay whatever it is now. I want the previous eso back.

    It’s a ridiculously poor design IMO.

    It’s almost as if they don’t play these things and just whiteboard ideas into game updates.

    This is why you’ll see squads go full send for the middle map ball (always guaranteed to be a non transform) and then just heal camp that ball.

    Even though there are 3 balls in play they don’t have to put in any work toward the other two. Chaosball isn’t as much a group competitive gameplay mode as it’s really just a “heal-off” to see which side got the better healers.

    The transform balls are more harmful than helpful. The werewolf PoV and target accuracy is poor, he’s just a big target. The Vampire is marginally better but insanely squishy when you account for the Chaosball debuff.

    Losing your skill sets but still rocking your characters build armor sets makes those transform balls “chaotic” but not in a fun way, in a clumsy way. They’re not fun ideas or mechanics.

    Just fix all Chaosball matches to be 3x non-transforms and it’ll solve this mess.

    It's even worse, their "fix" was to make all 3 balls only 3 points per tick. Matches end up going to timer whether you play the ball or just deathmatch, so the mode has lost all coherence. Nevermind the fact that players are also avoiding the ball because even if you don't transform, having Streak disabled seriously nerfs your build.
