Which of these werewolf appearances would you most want as a Werewolf Transformation Skill Style?

Please refer to the image below, which showcases 7 distinct appearances that non-behemoth werewolves can have in this game:

Note that currently, only the Brown, Black w/ White, and White appearances are usable by players via the Werewolf Transformation, Werewolf Berserker, and Pack Leader skills, respectively. The others listed are currently exclusively used by NPCs.

If you could pick any of the above appearances for your werewolf form, regardless of which morph of Werewolf Transformation you pick, which one would you most want to use and why? Which appearance matches your characters the best?

I would like them to let us customize the fur colors with any of the options currently in the game. Something like a collectible menu option, like skins. It would be nice.

For me I would prefer the all black fur one, I just prefer it's look, though I think the whole model also needs some updating. Maybe they could add it as a skill styling option on the ultimate.

White Fur (Pack Leader)

I only ever used Pack Leader White Fur morph and didn't even know I could have been different with a different morph - I am so happy that the one I use is white because it is absolutely the best in my eyes and if I could not be white for some reason and I should decide which one to buy, White would definitely be the one.
Black&White would be my second choice, but all White is miles ahead.

Skeletal Werewolf (NPC Only)

White fur is definitely my favourite and I'm glad that my preferred morph has it.

However, skeletal would be cool for some RPing as a cursed Werewolf.

Brown Fur (Werewolf Transformation)

I want brown fur to be an actual choice. Cause as it stands, if you want to play as it, you have to gimp yourself by not morphing the ability, and missing out on power.

Out of these, the black one is pretty neat. But I'd like to have a cream colored werewolf to suit my one and only werewolf character, who I don't play as a wolfy due to the limitations.

I don’t really use werewolf form much nowadays but one of mine is a light brown and the other is a wereshark, so closest would be brown & undead.

Grey Fur (NPC Only)

I find it really interesting that the solid black fur option (found in Moon Hunter Keep, by the way) has yellow eyes, whereas the standard black fur with white fur patches has red eyes.

Also, the undead werewolf appearance still has that extra fur detail that was stripped from the regular werewolf appearance many years ago.

But personally, I'd want to use the grey fur appearance on my main character because it looks more savage and beastly. I do have a necromancer werewolf character who would look really cool as an undead werewolf, though. And, that solid black fur actually reminds me of some movie werewolves, so I'd definitely give that skin a try.

Needless to say, I'd probably use all of these appearances if they were made into options.

I've kept my wolf unmorphed since he's a ginger normally and should have a reddish-brown fur. Still, it really feels bad to have to gimp myself to have it look sorta right.

But of course the real option is... Why not multiple?

We already have some skills (force pulse) that have two options, so logically the Werewolf transformation should definitely have the three standard colors (grey-brown, white, black) as options natively.

Ideally, I hope all 7 of these are made into Skill Styles and I hope we get a few new ones made as well. Hopefully we'll get a ginger werewolf fur color, too.

That said, I'm surprised by how many people want the solid black fur look from those werewolves in Moon Hunter Keep. Maybe we should get a solid brown and a solid grey look as well?

Your survey needs an "other" option, because the only additional transformation that I'd want that we don't currently have is Behemoth.

The Werewolf Behemoth model uses a different rig than the standard Werewolf rig, which is why I didn't include it. The options in the poll all use regular werewolf movement and attack animations, so they should (theoretically) be much easier to implement as Skill Styles — it's just a matter of swapping the fur texture or character model.

That is, werewolf behemoths use different animations than standard werewolves do, so they'd be incompatible without heavy modification.

I’ve always suspected that the reason they will not put in a “hide vampirism” option in the game is because that in PVP they want people to see if a player is a vampire or not, even though we can use skins with markings all over the face or polymorphs. Maybe they’ve never given any other choice for werewolves so people can see what morph someone is using. That being said, I’ve always thought we should be able to customize the way our vampires and werewolves look since the very beginning, and I hope we do get that at some point. Until then, my vampire will be looking rather pale in the Arctic Rime skin!

While I'm not entirely sold on the idea of Werewolf Transformation Skill Styles changing the fur color of your Pack Leader dire wolves to match your own fur color, I do think in the case of the skeletal werewolf, it would be sick to have the dire wolves replaced with skeletal dire wolves.
