Do you need more bank/inventory space?

Yes, even with ESO+, housing storage and maxed space on all chars (and maybe even a guild bank)
Furniture is currently my biggest issue. At one point I was using the Artaeum house for storage but even that ended up not being enough. Might have to shift to that Redoubt house as my new warehouse. It be nice if we could get a separate bag or even a separate bank for furniture.

Edit: I also know with a Guild Im an officer in, the bank management is quite a pain. On top of having to constantly lord over players activity in the bank because the powers that be wont give us the tools to better secure it. We constantly have to go through and sell off a ton of stuff to make more room because we are always at max limit. A 400-800 limit increase on guild space would be very helpful.

Also, surveys... I can't seem to delete them. Many of them are a pain the butt to use too. There are a few that I have to run ~15 seconds away, then run back and it will be spawn again while some of the newer ones its only 2 or 3 seconds away. I wish my leveled companion could go do them for me.

Hell yes!!! I have every available storage and ESO+. Inventory management is boring. What uses space, and suggested solutions:
    1) Furnishings - if you could deconstruct them and get all the mats back, that would solve it.
    2) Golded out gear that isn't BIS currently. Deconstructing gear gives almost no gold mats back. ZoS are always changing what is best. In addition to refunding any transmutes used, please refund at least half the gold mats used.

Here's an idea, would solve two birds with one stone. Let furnishing multiples in homes count as one item. Built a house and used 20 high isle walls? One slot. Storing 10 candles, group? One slot. Storage issues and housing slot issues solved.

Side note: I wish we could purchase more than one of a property. I'd buy moon sugar meadow, earthtear, still waters retreat multiple times. Moon sugar A B C etc. Not enough empty blank slate properties. I want a clean canvas to work with. Barring the ability to purchase the same property several times it would be nice if there were a remove all structures option. For example, Sword singers redoubt would be much better w/out that tent in the middle imo.

Except that doesn't "Solve" the housing slot issues.

Since the housing slot limitations are there because of performance issues related to older hardware (I.e. Old consoles)

They're not there because they can't change the numerical values for slots. They're there because a machine needs to process loading all of the assets you put into the location.

Bumping up the amount of assets you can place by 20 fold (If not more) will literally brick the older hardware.

I am on PC so just got an addon where I can now find all the furniture I put in houses, so I finally finished clearing out my bank of all the furnishings I have collected (and don't want to get rid of). I also found out that I DID have a crafting station I could have used, instead of buying one, I just didn't remember what house it was in.

Which addon are you using? My bank is cluttered with furnishings all the time (actually it's more or less everything I keep there, except for a few items to swap between characters every now and then) because I want to have an overview about what I have on hand, and if I put that stuff in houses, I lack that (of course I could begin to write spreadsheets, but honestly, in the few hours I might have each evening, I'd rather be playing than writing lists).

If there is an addon, my hopes are crushed! If the PC has it I fear this means those of us on the console have no hope of any tools to help us manage the furnishings mess. I'm happy for you because it does sound wonderful...

I hope they continue to do things to improve storage abilities like they did with seige stacking, making IC/sewer fragments a currency,etc..Have transmutation crystals become a crafting material or currency, let companions store gear, stack treasure maps, add more housing storage crates, etc.

I'd like enough inventory space that I can at least decon things once a day.

As opposed to having to stop gameplay to decon on my designated craft several times a day.

This is also a reason why many times I think about logging into ESO, but then I remember I have to do the inventory chores:
    • Deconstructing on my designated crafter
    • logging out
    • finding an alt who is still leveling Enchanting
    • deconstructing all the glyphs on them
    • Deleting the crazy amount of green recipes that have accumulated

There is usually even more than this.

Then I remember games like FFXIV and WoW where I don't have to suffer due to inventory issues. And I simply log into those instead.

I only play ESO when I feel like suffering through inventory clean-up is worth logging into. And tbh that is getting to be less and less.

    Solutions:
    1. Give us a place to dump our excess recipes so that any other players can pick them up. There are so many recipes that sell for less than 100g each or don't sell at all.
    2. Stack treasure maps
    3. ESO+ bag for master crafting writs
    4. Housing: Mannequins that hold gearsets. These would work just like the armory. You display the gear and can right-click on it to equip that gearset.
    5. Until the above is implemented: more storage chests in our homes.
    6. Erase the champion point ability to deconstruct for more mats. It can be a flat rate for everyone (as long as that character has 50 crafting unlocked in Blacksmithing, Woodworking, etc.) This means we don't have to dump all our gear into the bank, log into our designated crafter, and THEN deconstruct.

No, even without ESO+ I have enough space
If thousands of furnishings are sitting unused in multiple houses for years then that just shows that "some day" never comes.

Thousands of furnishings are completely reasonable because a player doesn't know in advance how they're going to build the next house they acquire. They don't even know what the house itself and the property it sits on looks like.

If a designer is going to be anything remotely successful, they have to have a huge library of resources to draw from. Will they ever need everything they're stockpiling? Of course not. But it's also impossible to pick and choose which you'll need for later because you simply just don't know what your next design is going to be. A poorly stocked inventory will only serve to limit the possibilities.

And with the weekly Luxury Vendor system as it is, selling high quality furnishings that can only be acquired from the Lux vendor once a year, no designer in their right mind is going to discard or destroy anything they've collected from there. As well, the Lux vendor introduces a brand new never before released furnishing every week, dumping even more items into the inventory management.

Sure, craftable furnishings can be discarded because those can be easily replaced, even if costly to do so. But there are entirely too many furnishings that you can't craft. Lux vendor, event specific drops, furnishing packs, crown purchased furnishings from the housing editor, etc..

Zenimax addressed the requests for a furnitishing bag a few years ago. They stated the reason they are not adding it to the game is server performance. They stated that the unique number of items in such a query is significantly larger than that of the crafting bag.

So with that logic it is highly unlikely we will get a solution to furniture storage outside of using another house. It’s also why it is unlikely we will get more storage added to our bank or bags. That is until they feel they have solved the server load issues.

I am not arguing against anything. Heck, I had made/supported multiple requests for a furnishing bag based on extremely sound logic that if it would make it easier to purchase furniture from the crown store if we didn’t have to worry about furniture storage as we do now.

There is always a way and a creative mind will always find a solution. More storage space is needed. I mentioned how WoW does this while the company still makes extra money in my previous post. People will always want more storage space because ESO has many cool things.

I, for one, do decon items I so wish to keep. However, due to space constraint, I reluctantly destroy them. I do have 15 characters, with a few of them are simply mules. My main has 215 bag spaces, mind you.

Eso creative teams please find a solution that will remedy this issue on all front.

I'd immediately buy increased storage on all 20 na characters and 2 eu characters if it was available. Lots of us would. I'm actually really surprised they haven't added something for this to the crown store by now. Sometimes I feel like they miss really easy monetization opportunities for stuff we need.

There are many things ZOS could do to improve inventory issues, even without increasing actual storage space:
    • Allow craftable furnishings to be deconstructed and return a meaningful portion of their cost (e.g., a third or half)
    • Make more items stackable, such as treasure maps
    • Increase the maximum stack size, e.g., make it 300 for potions
    • Further reduce item complexity, like they recently did with Cyrodiil repair items or jewelry crafting materials
    • Stop the proliferation of new style materials - you could still add new styles, just have them use existing materials
    • Increase the drop rates of rare crafting materials, so people are more willing to get rid of items that need them

I guess the question is how much effort it takes and what impact any changes would have on ESO+ subscription rates...

Biggest improvements they could make that would help instead of just adding more inventory space:
    • Decon furniture
    • Increase consumable stack size massively, like 2k for potion stacks
    • Stack surveys and maps
