To be honest. I love The Elder Scrolls Online.
The game is fun, exciting, invigorating, adventurous, mysterious, amusing, enjoyable, witty, hilarious and down right awesome.
...
We are the ones who will change this games future, lets get it right and stay positive while we do.
Thanks, Joseph Dovahkiin.
Love, love, love...inappropriate content...I'm reporting you!
Even on Zenimax server announcement with their cryptic message about Early access being extended until Sunday before the need to transfer to live, there's no apology and the message doesn't make any sense.
First we don't get extended early access at all as the game goes live in a few hours hence when we log on we are no longer playing earlier than anyone else..
Second, the way it's worded looks like there's a process we have to do to transfer to a live account and we don't now have to do this until Sunday. But its worded in such a way that it looks like we now have the choice to wait until Sunday, not that it's automatic. If that is the case, loads of people wont realise and will do whatever is required as soon as they log on to switch to their live accounts.

And what has happened, lots of people taking out subs presuming their 30 days will start counting down on Sunday when it starts counting down as soon as you take out a sub.
It was so obvious from their wording that loads of people would be confused over this.
So simple to fix, a simple very clear message on the account that if you activate your sub now, your 30 days starts counting down immediately, and you should wait until Sunday to get the full benefit of the early access
They could have simply said
"to compensate those players still waiting for their retail codes and to give early access a few extra days, please do not set up your subscriptions until Sunday as we have allowed the game to be played without one for an extra couple of days.
Note, as soon as you take out a subscription your 30 days start counting down"
All of our fates are intertwined, the future is in your hands, and you are the one who can change it.

Ri'Dariit also read the EU issue of planned take down and must add something. Take-down was scheduled at "unpleasant" time to apply errors quickly to fix. This one doesn't understand all the need for rush. You received 5 days, make your toon, name it. Mission accomplished. No reason to rush, have fun, explore. One who finishes everything quickly gets bored just as fast. Fellow Khajii M'aiq the Liar travels around the land. He does not run, he enjoys patience. Maybe you should try.
I don't care about the downtime, its good for the game, but in the EU it was right in the evening when everyone was home from work and ready to play..
What if all the time that a game was down for maintenance or offline the time for a sub stopped and then picked up when the game was back up so we paid for the time we had access to the game. How much downtime do you think they would have then? Would the company then make servers to test on inside the company before bringing down the live servers? Would it help the devs test the patches and things since they would have a lot longer to look at how things are running, since the live servers aren't down and they aren't rushing to bring the live servers up? Just something to think about, I expect MMOs to be down so its nothing new to me but maybe its time to change things.
