Yea...thanks all. As I was running around IC after dusting off my MagBlade to get affix's (I still only have the Magicka one), I stopped and realized....this isn't fun running around doing all this stuff I wouldn't normally be doing over and over again. I mean....for expanding on the map and getting to the delves and other things for the first time if it was a brand new player sure, but I've been playing since 2016 off and on...so yea....scribing just seems like yet another ZoS move to keep me in game longer. Always a catch with ZoS

That's how khajiit got all 20 characters to have every script - cycles around pretty quickly.
So....after several weeks I'm still missing:
Script:
Physical Damage
Stun
Signature:
Class Mastery
Hunter's Snare
Warriors Opportunity
Affix:
Maim
Vulnerability
The class mastery one I understand, but the others not so much. I'm doing the Mages, Fighters, and Undaunted dailies. I now get nothing but duplicates of what I already have, but none of the above. Am I missing something?
Aye thank you.....Class Mastery is the last one I need....ooof.

I opened a ROTW and got a focus script (as expected), it didn't say "already learned" so I consumed it on auto-pilot.
The weird part is that when I thought about it a minute later - that was the character that had gotten the achievement for learning all scripts back in July.
I don't know if it somehow reverted knowing that script, or if the game just let me consume it already knowing.

That's because the achievement is account wide.
As your characters learn Scripts, it just ticks off in the achievement. That could mean that character 1 learned Scripts A, B, C; character 2 learned B, D, E; and character 3 learned A, D, F. At that point, your account has 6 Scripts, but each character only has 3.
All that means is that that specific character learned the last unique one over your account, but they still had some that they themselves did not know.

While that seems like the most likely explanation, it's still a little unusual and basically means I ate a focus script on another character completely unaware. I did dailies on that character (only one to do all the scribing) until I had all the random drops learned, although since I checked via achievement I could have been fooled if everything lined up right. I was funneling any scripts I happened to get on other characters to they one for achievement purposes.
