Any chance we could fire questions on random Elder Scrolls topics at the Loremaster while we wait for the servers to come back up? Or is that worthy already up to the metaphorical eyebrows with answering the holiday questions?

Yes, everything is offline now.

To those who held the line in-game over on the EU megaserver long enough for ZeniMax to get the necessary power back to shut off the NA and EU megaservers - your service is appreciated and shall not be forgotten. But for now, you are hereby ordered to bed. I shall do the same with our NA players momentarily.

Is there a protocol for people NOT missing a daily reward??? Since it is just software running on a computer... can you just flag all accounts that have logged on in the last 24 - 36 hours, as having collected the missed reward when the servers are restored?!! You should have something in place to handle this. That, or can we submit a help ticket to restore an uncollected reward within 24 hours of the servers being restored???

One final update from ZoS for y'all to consider before I get some shut-eye, courtesy of Gina at 945pm (Eastern):

Update: We are still hard at work trying to get all live realms back up and running as soon as possible, and are making good progress on PC NA. The current plan is to open realms by platform (NA and EU together) as they come back online; the current order is not known but we will keep you posted.

Thanks for your continued patience and we'll check back in with everyone in a couple hours.

If Gina, Kevin, or any of the other ZeniMax employees see this - you are all appreciated. Advice: Once the servers all stabilize, please use this weekend to GET. SOME. SLEEP.

This was probably the result of launching the ESO Plus free trial. In an attempt to make sure that no one gets any ACTUAL benefit from the free trial, such as returning everything added to the crafting bag being returned to your inventory... furnishing added over the default limit being returned to your inventory... and anything you put in your bank, returned to your inventory... caused an overload in their servers, because the returned items couldn't go back into your inventory. This impossibility was recognized by the system software, causing the crash!!

Okay... obviously I'm joking, but I can't play ESO... so my mind is in story-telling mode to pass the time. I guess I'll go eat a taco. Hopefully... THAT doesn't crash!!!
