Some of the golden pursuit objectives award an outfit style page, called the evergreen saturnalia style. My questions are 1) Do these styles only drop from doing the specific objectives, or will they also be available by other means? 2) One of the objectives is 'earn event tickets' (it awards the sword style), but there is no active event going on right now, so if someone completed the golden pursuit by doing the other activities, does this mean they would be locked out of that style page? Because if that style page only drops from the event ticket objective it means that we have to wait for the next event AND try not to accidentally complete the pursuits until then (which is hard because a lot of them are just usual daily activities...). Some of my guild mates reported already doing 7 objectives just by doing their usual daily activities, for instance, so it will be easy to reach 20 objectives way before the next event.

In talking with the dev team, they said, "The Golden Pursuit Activities that reward individual weapon style pages, can only be earned by completing the associated activity. That said, players can still complete those activities, even after they complete the capstone. They won't be locked out of it. For example, the Earn 10 Event Tickets activity will be completable (alongside the Earn 15 New Life Festival Boxes), when New Life starts up on December 19. We designed these to be completable with wiggle room for the event."
Thank you so much for replying @ZOS_JessicaFolsom ! If I understood correctly, we can complete all 20 pursuits before the event, but when we earn 10 tickets during the event, we can still get the style page from that pursuit objective. If that's the case, that's great news, and it means players won't have to monitor or pace their activities before the event.
^ This, specifically, for example - there does not seem to be a way to ignore or dismiss this prompt without actually interacting with the golden pursuits.
Why has a means to disable/ignore/dismiss this (GUI design 101...) not been implemented?

If you press X on keyboard (not sure what keybind it is for controller), it will dismiss that prompt temporarily. That prompt will reappear any time you re-emerge from a load screen.
There's no way (without the use of addons) to suppress that prompt permanently. And pressing X on keyboard to (temporarily) dismiss the prompt is not telegraphed in the UI and so it is not discoverable by people who do not already know about it.
BTW, pressing X also works for the prompt for level-up rewards.

Thanks for the feedback, @tincanman! If you could choose, what specific functionality would you like to see? Is it specifically the ability to toggle on/off in-game pop-up notifications?

As per my posts above:
- The ability to dismiss/ignore/disable the prompt. Just getting that prompt off-screen would be a useful start; I expect some others might be in the middle of something and may want to return to the Golden Pursuit interface later at their leisure rather than have the persistent prompt. Perhaps, push it to notifications (which already exists with a well-developed interface) where it can be reviewed and responded to later, for those who want to? I expect others would prefer it as is which is why a disable/enable toggle, for me, would be preferred, but a compromise might be a fade-timeout with the prompt pushed to notifications at the timeout end(if such were implemented, the ability to set the timeout timer would be a winner as it could be set to zero, effectively shunting the prompt to notifications immediately...)?
- The ability to disable the golden pursuit interface thing altogether; it's very much like seals of endeavour but more shouty, visually speaking. I can ignore seals of endeavour because they are not as intrusive. But Golden Pursuits are very intrusive. The GUI has the yellow marker within 'groups' and also, when other interface features are active there is the incongruous yellow icon top-screen. I get that you are trying to associate gold/yellow and therefore draw attention but, with respect to the rest of the gui, it is anomalously intrusive.
Thanks.
"That said, we do welcome feedback for future Golden Pursuits!"
In the future don't have pursuits that are impossible for some players to even attempt let alone complete.
The more I think about the more upset I become. It's not about the rewards. Honestly I could care less for them. It's just something I would earn and probably never use for any length of time.
What upsets me most is the feeling that my time energy and money doesn't matter to ZOS and that you take your faithful for granted. That we will "just suck it up buttercup and keep eating it by the spoonful".
Know this will be deleted probably but how else are we supposed to give feedback and tell how you make us feel.

"The 'Earn Level' tasks are specific for character levels. Champion Point levels will not count towards it. The December Golden Pursuit campaign is built to still allow max roster players to earn the capstone and freely earn all of the rewards associated with the campaign. They'll have a remaining 24 activities to participate in, with the Capstone being earned at 20 (and none of the activity rewards being on the level activities.) That said, we do welcome feedback for future Golden Pursuits!"
So I am penalized for already having reach 3600 and 20 characters and having stuck with ESO so long with time and money invested.
I'm reporting here that one of the options for the Golden Pursuit is likely not working as intended: I unlocked the "craft 50 items" by doing them in bulk and it worked; I did that directly in my house and the "craft 20 items in a house" counted just 1/20. I tested this a couple times more and it force-required me to craft 1 item at a time; all items I used to craft in bulk I won't have them back and they didn't count.
Maybe you could hotfix this for other players?
Aside from this, I think I appreciate this Golden Pursuit more than a regular event, and it will keep me busy returning to play more ESO, so... Positive feedback from me
