Now there's some thinkin. Yup you can still get the digital imp. Selling the key for your box should be easy enough. I'd do it. I really think the bonuses are worth the extra 20 bucks, with or without early access.jonephesb14_ESO wrote: »I don't get my Amazon order because they fubar'd the shipping on my order even though i pre-ordered Jan 30-2014 i will not receive my box till Monday. I wont be able to play after Sunday.
Can i still buy a Digital IMP edition? I'll just sell the Key that i get in the box.
You were given 5 or 3 day early access, not 120 or 72 hours of playtime... there is a difference. Ppl just need to relax and reread the Terms they accepted http://www.zenimax.com/legal_terms_us
"ZeniMax does not guarantee that any Services will be available at all times, in all countries and/or geographic locations, at any given time, or that it will continue to offer any particular Services for any particular length of time."

I mean... aren't they already prepared? Or are they basically going to sneak in a patch without telling anyone?
I hate the lack of communication these companies get away with.
If the game wasn't so fun, I'd already have my money back and moved on to something else. I just wish I hadn't taken this week off from work, just to waste a couple of days waiting for the servers to come back up.
You've got it the wrong way. I was simply saying that they plan to compensate an early access day with an ordinary play day, which is less valuable. When a paying user suffers a loss, you don't compensate it exactly with what he has lost. You give him more, to show him how valuable paying users are to the company.coryevans_3b14_ESO wrote: »So people are still not satisfied. I'm sorry but I don't think this game is for you. Nor will it ever be. I'm sorry you feel this way but maybe it's time to go back to a more established game that doesn't cause you such distress.

this is nothing to do with 'preparing the servers for launch'.. as so many people bought the imperial edition/early access..there isn't going to be a huge spike in subscriber numbers on the 4/4/14.
it is just an excuse because they messed something up and are trying to fix the mail bug.. or the issue yesterday where the US server was down.. which they havent really fixed yet.. they are trying to mask that behind 'we are preparing for launch..'
Well, if you read my posts, I'm not complaining. Just analyzing how they are facing the situation. If I were in Baltimore, be sure I would be bothering the producers about the point we just discussed: you don't treat a paying user like that, mainly considering the loss caused by every pau you lose. I'd like to know if that solution came directly from Bethesda, which I doubt. Somehow I think they (Bethesda) will impose a different, better compensation. Time will tell.coryevans_3b14_ESO wrote: »I do see your point there. But with all of the launches I've been a part of (too many to list, I'm old after all) this is by far the smoothest so I don't get all the complaining. But if this is your first mmo launch, I do remember how upset i was the first time so I can't fault you a ton.

Please don't take this the wrong way but it may have been a bad idea to take any time off the week of pre release for ANY mmorpg given the problems that should be expected given the nature of the beast. But I totally understand doing it.
Also, once the maintenence is finished, there will be patch notes available IF there is a patch. If it's just basic maintenance then there's really no information to be given unless you have a solid understanding of code and server architecture. Telling folks more then that would be counter productive and confusing for most. Just my opinion as a network administrator.
anyone else feel like we got screwed with the servers being down for almost 24 hours during the "early access"? even more so if your like me and had to wait 5+ hours on day one to get your code. you add that to the server down time ever couple hours and the random boots form the server as unknown errors and its like a day and a half wasted time we didn't get that we paid for.
I understand that you paid for the game and that early access is a bonus but its the reason we buy it before launch so don't try to push that one to me. I feel the least they could do is push launch back 1 day like other companies do to give us what we paid for or give us something in game to make up for it. I just feel like we were ripped off a bit.
If you marched into Bethesda HQ demanding compensation, you'd sure get a lot of strange looks considering they didn't actually make this game.jaschacasadiob16_ESO wrote: »Well, if you read my posts, I'm not complaining.
