Not according to EU law, it isn't. This is a sale incentive and as such integral part of the deal. In addition, this is not a pre-order but a pre-purchase.

I wonder how the ppl that throw out the excuse " terms of service" would feel if they took the servers down for 1 month after you paid for your 1 month of subscription fee... bet you would be singing a different tune then...asking for a refund or compensation.. put that in your pipe and smoke it.

Terms of service clearly state you can ask a full refund withing 5 days. Contact the support and ask for it. That's the only way to get them THE message.

    Actually, I'm right.

The pre-order bonus items were stuff given to you if you pre ordered the game. The act of pre ordering the game gave you these unique items, the same as being given free coupons if you buy 10 or more rolls of toilet paper. Can you get these items in game if you buy the game say next week? No, because they aren't included with the game.

    Actually you are wrong.
Those items included a 5 days early access as well.
All these were offered to make you pay in advance - helping the short term cashflow of the company and providing them assets to use until they have to start to provide services. Paying in advance is not a neutral stance, it's clearly beneficial to the receiver.

Yet they failed to deliver one part of the product - the 5 days early access.

Obviously the free 5 day early access and other pre order bonuses were just incentives to make people pre purchase the game. They were not included in the price. They were free bonuses to get people to pre order the game.

How exactly have they failed in delivering the 5 days early access free bonus? I know some people have had problems connecting, some haven't been able to play at all, but they won't get compensation, because those pre -order bonuses were free.

Ok, now lets play with "incentives". So you go to a place to buy a car because they promise you a $1200 cash incentive, if you purchase today. So you go buy a car and then ask for your $1200, but then they tell you that it's not going to be $1200 its only going to be $900 incentive, after the fact. So that is fine with you since it was only an "incentive" or do you expect the $1200 that you were promised for "buying today"?

Oh, and if you say you would be ok with the $900, I am gonna go ahead and call you a liar in advance so I don't have to waste my time posting it later, just in case.

Its an incentives. It's something free. I would be happy with a free $1200 or a free $900.

Are you seriously saying you'd be angry at someone if they promised you a free $1200 but instead gave you a free $900? How old are you? damn

Is it the case though? I see that as a strawman. From what I can see here many, many people, the companies most loyal fan base I would say. Have paid one hell of a premium to get early access. The game, especially in the UK is expensive for a PC game, plus the sub to come.

Already online sites are offering the game at half price, standard editions. They have paid heavily (real money) for this "free" access IMO and a bit of fluff.

No it isn't because no one got 5 days. That never happened as it was advertised as a sales mechanism. Love this game and love the company, will probably play it for a couple of years and pay for it. But don't say something exists that doesn't.

How old are you? damn

I am 40, you are a liar and a troll. Good day.

If you're 40 years old then I'm pretty disappointed in you. Try to act more your age in future instead of a 10 year old lol. You're the one who's crying about free stuff!

i think the general consensus here is that you are the one with the issues.

I've had no issues with the game. It's ran perfectly for me these 5 days early access :)
