This is yet another "Why the hell haven't we gotten stackable treasure maps yet?!" issue.
We're promised "QoL" improvements, yet this one glaring sore spot has been here for years.Nightfighters ― PC/NA and PC/EU

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

✭✭✭✭✭As I said: If you choose "steal all", they do stack (unless they changed that). I had the same thing happening several years ago. Unfortunately I have no screenshot at hand after several years because I was playing on a different machine back then.

I'm all but certain that if "Loot All" "Steal All" was chosen, it will loot one and then fail to loot the other.
They haven't actually looted yet. Note that they're not looking at their inventory; this is the loot window for a Thieves Trove.
And since all Thieves Trove items are stolen, this also means that they can't bank or mail the first map to loot the second map. They are basically forced to lose one of the maps (since it seems unlikely that they can make it to an Outlaws Refuge and back before the trove despawns).

Yeah. That's why whenever I find a T-Map in a Research Folio from Azandar, I leave it in the container.
