Still waiting for the ability to make minor changes like hair colour, skin tone and makeup on my toon without needing an appearance change token.
I think we need an expansion to the outfit station for these things so that we can perfect the look of our toons for that deadly night out in Sunspire.
I mean, fashion is endgame!

Plastic surgery is one thing, so change tokens should be for major work, like gender and size changes. However, hair dye should be as easy as a style change, or even part of that. I recall that there is already a precedent of the Draping Locks style being available pre-dyed blue. Make it more general, perhaps by adding hair styles to the dye/outfit station slots as helmets.

Same for a fake tan as a skin. Eye effects exist as adornments, but slot limitations mean more combinations are needed, as some are mutually exclusive. Existing systems can do the job, with a bit more tweaking.

This is why the first ever character I created, way back in 2014 when some of us could log in an hour or two earlier than the rest (was it Explorer’s Pack that allowed it?), is still in the Wailing Prison cell.

He was purely a name grab and I intended to fix his appearance after they added a barbershop - I would pay some gold and make him as I wanted.

They added tokens instead and I kept him in that starting cell ever since. He’s still there and that name can never be used on PC NA because it’s mine, and no one will ever see the name unless they add an in game gold barbershop equivalent. He’s a 75 slot storage container now lol.

Not from me they aren't. :P I've been playing since beta, and hoping for the ability to change hair color in game since beta, and I haven't once used an appearance change token for this purpose as I feel it is ridiculously overpriced for one small tweak. Especially since often for me it would be a temporary change to match with a look for a holiday season or something.

I do wonder how many people use tokens just for this but it's always felt so ridiculous to me that I refused to do it. And still do.

I am surprised that chaning our appearnace is one charge fits all thing. I would expect an incremental approach with a cap. Add or change a scar, X crowns. Change hair color, X crowns, etc.

That makes sense and could lead to extra revenue since some would be more likely to spend a little from time to time to make changes.

I want to remove the head adornment I chose way back when I started on one character. I REFUSE to pay Crowns to do that though!

I would want them to add a thing in the crown store like the one that unlocks every accessory, but for every hair color in base game, and they add a tab in customization for hair color like they effortlessly added that customized action tab. That way we can change it to match outfits and things.

You can buy different makeups with seals of endeavor or the cosmetic pack: face markings in the crown store.
