They do add houses to the basegame zones already every now and then, so that wouldn't be new. Like Sword-Singers, Seaveil, etc.
The real question is ... can we find any other suspicious new structures? If the Auridon building is a quest house for a new companion, where would the other one be? Maybe in Valenwood, Bangkorai, or Skyrim?

I would prefer even deconstructing furniture to that! At least that would offer something not currently possible! I suppose it will be best if I can try not to set my hopes too high — better to be pleasantly surprised than disappointed!

We don’t have add-ons on console so there is no way for us to know.

I agree that the equivalent of Character Knowledge should be added to the base game so that you can see what is known on other characters on your account as well as see a list of all furnishings available to be learned. It would just be disappointing as the only new “feature” as it would not enable any of us to actually do anything different with our houses or furnishings. That is what I meant to express.
I just found this (don't use the link if you don't want pre-update spoiler):

It's a bit disappointing, if it's accurate, because I was hoping for something more interesting than this.

I too have seen this in multiple places...... if it is accurate and if it is the total sum of the Update, well I am beyond disappointed!!

It's a bit disappointing, if it's accurate, because I was hoping for something more interesting than this.If true, it is a good thing and has not been possible at all on consoles (and only possible on PC through the Housing Hub add-on). Not the emotes for houseguest pathing I was hoping for, but MUCH better than guild-specific houses, IMHO, and some other speculated features.
I just reeeally hope that ZOS also limits the inspect ability or otherwise prohibits add-ons from being able to copy-paste builds!

With 8 companions as well as a banker and a merchant, that maxes out the current 10 "Special Collectibles" category limit.
If ZOS keeps adding more companions, then there will not be enough "furniture-space" for all of them in any player's home.
Don't forget about the dozens of unusable mounts and pets, too. There is no space for everything; but, 10 is way too limiting.
If ZOS can't increase the overall furniture-limit due to "performance issues", then the least that they could do is double the "Special Furnishings" (VFX) category and the "Special Collectibles" (NPCs) category from 5 to 10 (default) and 10 to 20 (ESO+).

I would expect that these type furnishings are exactly what is impacting performance, though.

I agree it could be totally good and add a lot of life to housing and sharing builds. People would spend more time visiting houses, and thus more time doing housing.
It's worth noting that the devs responded to the thread about build copying--I was surprised they were suddenly interested, but it might make more sense if it could impact to how an upcoming house visiting feature would be received.
I'm personally against limiting features to cater to people who don't want their build copied, because I think it's very controlling behavior and places personal reputation over the freedom to choose your house. But it's certainly different if there was an official housing listing. EDIT: To clarify, I'm saying it might be worth limiting features because some in the community are concerned about copying, whether I agree with it or not.
Is copying really tied to the inspect feature? I'd thought EHT would have a way to detect the arrangements of furnishings without it. If it was tied to inspect, maybe there could be a homeowner option to have the inspect only list what items there are, not where they are. Or the inspect feature could only pass the location of objects, but not their rotation. So to copy+paste a build, you'd have to manually rotate everything somehow, one-by-one.

Not sure where she got it but maybe PTS, maybe somewhere else entirely but it suggests maybe a Q4 morph house because Doomchar had 5 morph pieces
Also the Auridon house could be a reward from the community event and the picture could relate to an entirely different house...I feel it would be a house though, seeing's each part is a key!

VFX furnishings are relatively new and severely lag behind in time of the overall furniture-limit.
Even then, 5 extra NPCs aren't going to kill performance. 50-100 beds, dressers, (etc.) might.
