I wish the research scrolls weren't account bound, I have no use for them and it's frustrating that I can't give them to people who want them.

My last item to research will be complete in 3 more days. I doubt I'll ever research again on another character but I'll hold on to the research scrolls anyway.

A million gold would be more appropriate as a 21 days reward.

the rewards this month seem far "less" than the past 2 months (no crates for starters)

i also would prefer the research scrolls to not be bound from daily rewards, i have like 50+ of each one i have no need for eating up storage space lol

No, you don't get it from only once or twice a year login rewards being 100k or as the wish mentioned 1mio gold...

You do get it by starting a MMO with an ingame economy, ingame currency (Gold) droping from NPCs and being rewarded for completing quest etc., a few thousand players playing the game, that for many years and having no reasonable gold sinks, the average playerbase (common/casual players) will use. After a certain timeframe you will ALWAYS have an inflation in that game . Take a look at other games like SWToR, AION or even WoW. In AION for example I withnessed prices going from 10,000-50,000 for item X up to 100mio-250mio within 6 years!

I wish the research scrolls and riding lessons etc. were a currency and didn’t take up bank space at all.

Gold & Seals of Endeavor are awesome rewards! Happy to see it.

We definitely need a larger variety, and simply number, of gold sinks though. Inflation on PC is getting pretty rough.

On PC NA, it seems to have been reduced since Jubilee. The price of materials, motifs and many recipes has fallen, and even the Crown exchange rate has gone down (I’m guessing that last is more due to more players now having gifting enabled). The guild trader fee is a HUGE gold sink. Idk that more are needed, but I’m always happy to be tempted with more furnishings to buy!

It would have been nice to get the exceptionally good rewards for every month of the anniversary 'year' (aka 15 months), but it wouldn't be sustainable in the long run, because players would start to expect the higher rewards, then complain when they don't get them.

I suspect that those who actually complained about the good rewards were just a vocal minority of attention seekers. I doubt ZOS paid those much attention.

I think the months of extra rewards were both part of the ongoing anniversary celebration and to encourage players to stay engaged while waiting for the next chapter. In June, we have a new chapter and I think also a new crate season, and we don’t yet know what will be in the Crown store or if there may be additional surprise mini events with bonus rewards (I’m not expecting more in the month of June what with Gold Road release, but you never know).

Seals, gold, telvar, tripot potions — these are also always welcome! Even the research scrolls will come in handy as I’m getting my alts trained up as 8-trait crafters to increase the odds of getting master writs — full master crafting stations is a long journey!

I guess ZOS listened to the complaint about too many crates and responded.

I'm not bothered that they didn't go full tilt this month as the celebration is suppose to be a year long. The Endeavors and gold are all helpful for building up currency used to buy game items so I will gladly accept them. The research rolls are kind of meh. After AWA I doubt I will ever level another character but having space I will bank them with the other scrolls I've received in case I change my mind down the road.

100 000 can buy you a house in the game. All small houses are under that, could even get 2 if you buy the right ones.
It's also between a half and a quarter of a medium house.

I really dislike when they hand out Gold like this. Anyone with just a little knowledge of basic economics knows that the Gold will be worth "less".

Would rather see an in-game merchant selling a super awesome mount everyone would want for 50 million gold. To remove Gold from the economy.

No. It depends on a variety of factors including how much the faucets outpace the sinks.
