Trash! That's just it, same as every crate reward since last year. I really wish they would stop giving crates, I detest gambling in gaming.

It's not gambling if there is nothing of yours at risk. Otherwise it's just a game of chance. You lose nothing, relax.

So far I received the Vorplasm Staff which I didn't have but everything else I already had or was junk. I'm doing a little better on gems due to receiving 5 gem skins I already had. This compares to the Scalecaller crates only giving me junk items for one or two gems.

No more than 4 gems from any crate so far.

This is a marketing mistake. It's really only showing why you shouldn't buy crates.

Please go back to giving XP scrolls or riding lessons or research scrolls.

I'm very happy to receive some gems from a crate. They're much more appreciated than scrolls I know I'll never use, and are just gathering digital dust in the bank.

I disagree.

Most of the rewards I receive are utter trash but the gems add up over time and it's nice to have the option to buy the very occasional crate item I'd actually want to use. Few fit the Elder Scrolls aesthetic so there's not a lot of them.

And rarely but it happens, those crates give me something I do like.

Meanwhile all of my xp scrolls, riding lessons, potions etc. just chew up space on alts I don't play. Not deleting them just in case one day they make them convertible to something useful like eg. gems.

I missed several days due to vacation, but I’m going to go out on a limb here and guess I’ll get what I got from the Scalecaller crates: potions, markings I’ll never use, and a healthy reminder to never purchase crates.
