Have you thought about placing flooring over some or all of the water? I placed a bridge under the bucket that takes you up and down so when I land there is no splash and I can then walk to the shore rather than swim. It took some manipulating and has to be partly submerged but it works.

You could also put a large wooden dock area and leave enough water for a boat for your smugglers to use to secretly bring their goods in and out.

Yeah, I can see why some people would like it; that's not what I was saying. Was just listing the reasons I personally do not like the free house since the thread is asking what we're going to do with it.... and since I, again personally, have multiple things I don't like about it.... I'm not going to do anything with it.
For me, masses of water in houses is just a waste of space because of the limits water has in this game. I like to really decorate and come up with unique things that have actual use for my character (every space in my homes has a legitimate use).... and a gigantic mass of water is usually just space I cannot do anything with; and there are houses with better, non water areas where I can accomplish the type of building/furnishing I like to do.
I simply like my water out of the way and not taking up an area that could have been a nice flat floorspace to decorate, like the ocean view in Daggerfall Overlook. I mean, seriously.... if that bottom part of that house was not water, I would have loved to set it up as a smuggler/merchant area with a bunch of tents and canopies with treasures on display beneath them.... but nope, it's water.

We all have our preferences, of course.

I don’t have a problem with bodies of water outside the house because I tend to leave the outdoors natural and just add plants. The one house I do have a problem with water is the Varlaisvea Ayleid house. That large pool inside the house takes up almost all of the main room. The rest of the house is just one other room and some hallways.

Nothing, it will sit and collect dust until the end of time
If I weren't completely lacking in creativity and ability to design, I might mess with it. I have no in-game friends either so it's hard to justify the time on something only I would be seeing.

I know there's possibilities to make it work, same with the towers.... but I know it would result in things looking a way that I wouldn't be satisfied with compared to if it just had no water down there. Again, the thread asked what we are doing with the house.... and I simply listed reasons why I'm doing nothing with it, haha. I've already decorated Hall of the Lunar Champion to have a market/smuggling area, and I simply don't see the point in trying to bend over backwards to make this house have one like I described. But again, that's just my stance on it.

I was just offering some ideas. I realize what one player sees in a space another may not. I hope you find something that works for you.

I use the Magic Carpet addon, so it's impossible to fall to your death. Every time I jump it the hole, it teleports me back to the entrance, unharmed, lol. If I actually want to jump down into the water, I have to disable it.

Some new chars will use it to get other side of the desert, but as it's in a combat area, it isn't ideal for Wayshrining duty.

If you have a wayshrine in Bangkorai, you just need to head south to the wayshrine outside Hallin's Stand. From there, run south-ish along the road, then turn right just past the Hallin's Stand wall. You can access the house from there, with no hostiles.

Yes it's close to the Twin Arches home in the SW part of the zone.

Only in homes. It also lets you float in the air by creating a platform that moves with you everywhere you go. Essentially flying around as if you on a magic carpet. It's invaluable for placing objects and building tall structures that you (and console users, unfortunately) would otherwise have to build scaffoldings to do.

It's part of the Essential Housing Tools suite, but it can also be downloaded as a stand alone addon.

Originally i wanted to create something like oasis/tent city/oriental bazaar. But ressources and time and so on. It will take a few month i think.

But Guildmembers who are more and really deep into housing are planning an housingevent with the new house.

I commissioned stonemasons to craft replacements for the wooden stair- and gangways. As soon as I have their done, I'll start restaurating the cave. I am so scared of breaking through the floorboards.

No idea, so far all I've done is place the usual reward furnishings that I have in just about every other house, and some ghostly pets in the caves so that it appears that the place is haunted.

Well I might use it as a storehouse for unused furnishing at some point. But for now it has the benefit as a nice fasttravel point.

If they add a furnishing bag and a better way to get materials I might actually try to do something with it. But I do not know if the slots allow to furnish it to be a dream house.

I and many group RPers I know have plans for it, the caverns for a hideout, or shady underground or dark market scene. The caves look pretty neat without even decorating them. Outdoor spot could be also be a market
