pts people get free crowns on live server,is this addition?

people who have pts account got crowns on live server after maintenance yesterday,some people even got 21000 crowns.others said they got from 1700 to 5000.This is unfair to live server players.we buy crowns with real money.

ZOS has been very open about what compensation people who were banned because of PTS are getting and crowns were not mentioned, as well as that none of the compensation that has actually been mentioned has been rewarded yet at all (Because, you know, 90% of us are still banned.)
There is one post about this issue on the ESO subreddit and it doesn't mention anything about PTS. It is almost certainly a bug and has nothing to do with the lockouts. Automatically jumping to "more compensation for PTS bans" without any comment from ZOS is completely unwarranted.
That said, those of us who are banned should probably get some amount of crowns, but no more than would it take to buy the event tickets we're missing out on (and only then because actually distributing event tickets is probably infeasible with the ticket cap).6 -

if you spent any of crown/gold transfered from PTS into live you will be banned for sure. Everyone who got account blocked 5-6 days ago will receive 16k endeavours along some other stuff + 1 month of eso+ (along with 1650 crowns like it would be normally bought but no more) i suggest looking into this tread - https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/656543/temporarily-taking-down-the-pts-the-pc-na-live-server#latest - before you make a bigger fool of yourself with these claims5 -

Would it help ease your mind to know that the people who were on PTS and got locked out are locked out until Thursday (earliest) and couldn't see their in-game crown balances because THEY CAN'T LOG IN? Anyone who you're seeing get crowns is not locked out, so it's undoubtedly a bug. Sometimes I wonder whether the only exercise some folks get is jumping to conclusions (and unwarranted ones at that).I'm fresh out of outrage, but I could muster up some amused annoyance if required.14 -

I don't have an opinion on what other people should and should not get in this situation, but it would probably be good to have communication so that people who have already had to worry about their accounts don't have to continue to worry... I actually think that it is. I would gladly not play for ESO for 10 days and play something else. Then comeback to 16000 endevours, a free month of eso plus, and the associated crowns.3 -

As DoofusMax mentioned earlier, 99% of people banned/locked right now who IS getting these 16k endeavours cant even log in to abuse system in any possible way (not counting real exploiters who menaged to use transfered crowns/golds few days ago) And to be clear IF someone is able to exploit same or similar bug yesterday or today, for sure will not becounted into Compensation bundle from link i mentioned.

iuf Zos decides to give them crowns as compensation, what's it to anyone else? i was not affected. i got no dog in that fight and neither does anyone else not affected by the issue. If zos ive them 100$ cash on top of it, still aint no never mind to me. Gots enough to do just minding my own.

I know guildmates who got thousands of extra crowns who were not locked out. Something else is going on their cases.3 -

I was thinking the same thing.
I suppose there might be concern that this might be the beginning of another rampant, game-breaking bug, so "let's raise the flag for the developers before the whole thing crashes."
But my general feeling is that if somebody lucked out, whatever the reason, good for them.

Funny enough that's not how MMOs work for a lot people, it's about "economy" (in broader gamey sense) and if something is skewing it or added artificially whilst other's earn stuff the "natural" way it's obviously affects their enjoyment as their time spent on some grind being devaluated.2 -

Other players getting bonuses doesn't affect my enjoyment at all. The only thing that affects my enjoyment is a slight feeling of jealousy towards those who received the 16k endeavors, which would happen no matter what they received, if it was decently useful (which it should be). This feeling is not very conductive towards me reaching any personal in-game goals, so I rarely think about it.
People get windfalls quite often in many different ways, stuff they may not have earned. Being upset by this is dooming yourself to think that your effort is indeed less valuable, which is not true.
