What do you care? Other players being given things in no way affects your game play. Not even a little bit. Either you enjoy the game or you do not and other people being able to get some cosmetics or another house should have zero impact on your enjoyment.

Funny enough that's not how MMOs work for a lot people, it's about "economy" (in broader gamey sense) and if something is skewing it or added artificially whilst other's earn stuff the "natural" way it's obviously affects their enjoyment as their time spent on some grind being devaluated.

I think you're forgetting the part about this being compensation for the affected players' loss, not a reward arbitrarily given.

I'm certainly remember it, but it matters not in any case as I'm not advocating not for nor against it. It is what it is and all fault goes to zos no matter what. They've been unable to identify obvious and glaring issues yet again which are finally backfired at them. People are dissatisfied on all ends with this, be those affected directly or not.

I've been on PTS last week (not when the chaos happened) and since then, my amount of Crowns haven't changed at all. It has remained the same after yesterday's patch maintenance.

Most don't though, they just want to check out the new stuff.

They've made PTS into their marketing tool with previews, datamines etc. but if it still was an actual testing ground as it was in 2018 it would be mitigated heavily plus people invited to test would be actually testing still, especially if their feedback would be seen as significant as it was back then.

You think 16k endeavors (video game money) makes up for 10 days of loss real world product and access I paid real money for? Give your head a shake.

I actually think that it is. I would gladly not play for ESO for 10 days and play something else. Then comeback to 16000 endevours, a free month of eso plus, and the associated crowns.

Yep I am not like that at all. Not everyone who got their accounts locked are like that too. So why point that out?

I have been to the PTS to duel people though when there are interesting changes that I couldn't wait to test.

To be clear though, I am not bitter at all. I am just pointing out that the compensation is more than fair in my opinion, and is a response to someone who said that the compensation still wasn't enough.

I was affected as was everyone when the server was shut down for how ever many hours.

I noticed I got credited Crowns as well. Around 1800 I think was. I have no PTS account. Haven't spent them, nor am I going to, until I know where they came from and why I have been given them. Happy for ZOS to take them back
