Question About Banned Accounts & Time Sensitive Things

@ZOS_Kevin Heya, apologies if this has been asked before, but could we receive an update or information with regard to time sensitive things like mails, leads expiring, crown store limited time items, daily rewards, etc? I know it's going to be 8 days minimum at this point for locked accounts, so I'm wondering if you know what will be done about mails and other things being deleted or no longer available when we come back. Thanks for the work you guys have been putting into getting this whole thing sorted. I imagine y'all are inundated with requests

If we're getting rolled back to Monday, maybe some thing like expiration timers specific to our accounts will also get rolled back? Hard to say.

That said, I have to assume that it is the cumulative effect of little losses like these that resulted in them arriving at that 16,000 number for Seals of Endeavor, and that this means the answer is probably not going to be much if anything else. But you never know.

Only NA server will be rolled back to Monday, not EU.

I'm not able to buy the new Atmoran Snow Ursauk (April 18 to 22). But I guess the 16k seals makes up for it.

There was also a sale on Apperance Change Tokens. Normally 1000 each, discounted to 850.

This might sound like a lot but I usually stock up 20 or 30 at a time and then use them over the next year.

20 x 150 crown discount = 3000 crowns unable to save

The 16k seals helps here because I collect all the Radiant Apex. So I can save some crown gems and indirectly crowns.

It doesn't work like that.

I will definitely be losing some mails and leads due to this lengthy lockout. Remember when they originally said 2-3 days? Yea...

Yeah, I have some items in my mail that didn't sell that are worth millions of gold, so I know I'd be a little upset if they weren't able to be retrieved and ended up vanishing in expired mails, through no fault of my own. Not to mention missing out on my daily Siegemaster's Coffers and Gladiator's Rucksacks that are a large part of my in-game income.

Also, I've got more mounts than I could possibly ride, and purchased any radiants I may have liked already with endeavors or gems. So the idea of another pile of endeavors for my losses wouldn't be very appealing.

I totally sympathize with those in the OP's position.

Edit: And let's not forget that ZOS is cutting the life expectancy of mails from 30 days down to 7 for in-game rewards and 14 for purchases and non-selling guild store items in a couple of months... so look for this to become an even bigger problem going forward.

• Chance to get the free DLC/mount from Thieves Guild event (not sure when this runs until?)
• Daily log ins (we should at least not lose collectibles)
• Limited time crown items/discounts

These are all things I think were mostly overlooked to begin with, but the ongoing cost to at least some of us is piling up higher and higher. This is on top of things like lost one-per-day items in dailies and missed purple boxes. (I'm doing my best to farm them on the alt account but it's way slower, and took a couple days to get the account to the point where it had a chance. Also won't be able to trade over transmutes to my main account later on, and I'm really struggling with inventory management on the new account due to no ESO+.) But I do understand things like purple boxes would be impossible for ZoS to manage fairly without some way to track how many people were averaging per day before the ban.

And the compensation at the moment... I had already farmed the style pages and almost unlocked the mount. The 16k seals is nice and I would even say a well thought out compensation, but it's nothing I need or that makes up for what I'm losing. I can't turn the seals into gold, use them to pull back missing mail or lost transmutes, or to replace lost raid days, and I care about my progress in the game way more than the latest shiny mount (got all the shiny mounts I wanted quite some time ago).

I don't know what the right answer is to address this or if there is one. I just know I'm tired of the message I seem to be getting from a lot of players right now - that we don't deserve compensation.

I'm pretty sure my costume is down the drain now, i'd love it if ZOS could make a statement/give us the collectables we are most likely gonna miss out on too, please zos.

The issues the OP mentioned are also the ones I'm concerned about. I run contests, so people send me gold to use for prizes. I have no clue what happens when an account gets rolled back.
Do those mails get restored to me? Do they go back to the sender somehow? Or does mail (and all the gold and items in it) just disappear from the server?

Also the comments regarding the compensation package are spot on.
We appreciate that ZOS has provided something and are taking this serious.
However it IS completely 100% cosmetic, it in now way makes up from all the income I'm missing out from now being able to farm the event daily. I'm missing out on tons of gold and transmutes, because yes, I'm "one of those" people that farms it on way too many high level crafting toons. Not complaining, just pointing out that every day we are missing out on a LOT of things with 'actual' value in the game. I can't use endeavors to craft gear or buy mundane runes, let me tell ya, LOL.

Sidenote: I'm completely FINE with the compensation , the only ones not fine are people that think:
16k endeavors is too much, it's cosmetic, it's bound, I'm STILL not sure how this is effecting anyone else's game?
5 rare pages is too much. Again it's cosmetic, I already was farming these for like 8+ hours a day, and feel the drop rate is abysmal. However, THAT is a separate issue with ZOS, not the players that are locked out.

So yes, I'm fine with the compensation, but it's totally fair to ask on clarification on how things like mail and house status are effected by the rollback because I honestly don't know .

Appreciate all your responses. Their compensation was extremely generous, so I don't want to come off as wahh I got 16k seals but what about my mail blah, but yeah- there's a ton of goodies in mine because that's how I manage recipes during this event. No room. I even have a guild bank with 500 slots...no space. I imagine they're like, "oh my gosh, they're complaining after we gave them all of that" but there's several valid points in this thread. It goes beyond cosmetic fun.
