    12 meter knockback is huge and awesome!

    Maybe reduce it to the usual 8 meter distance. 28 meters range are pretty long, too.

    Why did they remove the other knockbacks we had in the past, and then introduce something like this? If we're going to keep it this way, let us have our bow, and staff knock backs as well.
    Tbh, this looks like it'd be fun to use.

    They're are several AoEs that give unblockable stuns. But yeah you're right they usually state that. Still worth the test.

    Still stand by it isn't "Well before it lands". At least not from what I was told. Need to experience it from a victim side.

    History have shown that any time ZoS released something that were supposed to "trash ballgroups" it ended up being abused the most by ball grops themselves.

    I'm 99% sure that all ranged knock-back abilities (Flame Clench, Aurora Javelin, Magnum Shot) have been shortened to less than 22 meters so that they don't benefit from Cyrodiil's "Reach" passive.

    Most likely we'll see a stipulation on these weapons that won't allow them a 28meter range in Cyrodiil.

    Otherwise- it would be cool to give Clench, Javelin, and Magnum Shot back their 28meter reach!

    That depends if it bypasses CC immunity skills/pots etc. I just fear that Ball Groups will adapt by using potion cool down glyphs + Essence of Immovability to minimize the effect, but I have to admit - it won't minimize this CC by 100%.

    I wish there was some effect so it would only work against grouped players. For as long as ZOS wont do any "target-nerf" that would only affect PvP group environment, I can not see "Ball Group problem" being resolved and the story will keep repeating itself every patch. Besides, there are also some crazy combos FOR ball groups (like yet another OP group healing).

    While it may be useful to troll Ball Groups, I think OP is right and it will be used most often by trolls to knock people down & not vs ball groups. Allesia bridge, keep walls or Respawn Points in IC are gonna become basically "death zones".

    As mush as I would like to be able to do "anything" vs a ball group, I just don't think it is healthy for the game. It is too big of a trade-off.

    My take on spellcrafting in general is that is should be disabled in PvP or maybe at least some effect should be disabled via Battle Spirit.

    There is plenty situation where some people in group having that AoE knockback will be an asset. Throwing people off the walls and bridges and screwing their LoS on its own are worth having it in a group. Just imagine a siege where 3+ people cast that ability covering large part of the wall with it and lots of enemy players caught in that AoE will be thrown down. That is a massive adventage during sieges. 12 meters knockback on 28 meters range, 10 meters radius ability is just too easy to abuse.

    Maybe, most of the sieges is used from further than the skill range and out of LoS, but I can see what youre saying. There are applications for such skill in group play ofc, but there is way more vs group. Many skills and sets require players to be in certain range from caster/wearer to work, this skill can disrupt the flow of BG. Will it? Hard to say, but I think it's worth to give it a try.

    One thing though is working against PUGs and solos vs ballgroups - stuck in combat.

    Once we contact with BG for the first time we can't switch our setups to anti-BG easily while BG have premade setup which doesn't need any changes.

    The entire scribing system will create a significant imbalance between players who do and don't buy the new chapter. Which, in my view, is the definition of pay to win. ZOS is moving more and more toward a pay to win business model that they've historically said they would not engage in.

    Absolutely this.

    I will never understand ZoS' love for skills that reposition your character or where you lose control of your character (and often for longer than the stated duration)

    You can really tell that no one there plays PVP.

    There are already so many desync issues that already plague PVP.

    Remember- this ability has a 28 meter range- so it will benefit from Assault's "Reach" passive. So, it will actually get maximum range. If you watch the video- you'll see that you can target corners of walls/floors... so you can knock people off ledges.

    I honestly didn't mind that some single-target abilities knock people off 8 meters off ledges (Javelin, old school flame clench, etc) since it caused players to be mindful of positioning. But a large AOE knockback that sends you flying 12 meters... that's a little much.

    oh i know for a fact there are plans to run like pot time reduction glyphs, immov pots, escapist poisons and use this skill multiple times in group to yeat everyone of the walls/ platforms and go burn some lancers.

    Even inside homekeeps people will be yeeted out on cc cooldown off the outer walls while everyone in the group keeps moving, gonna be so much fun 😂😂😂😂
