    Sounds like you're a ballgrouper for saying this ! that's one of the best addition to the game, don't remove it !

    You realize that all the skills we thought would hurt ball groups (skills that pull or detonate)- the ball groupers end up using to trap and kill non-ball groups, right?

    I can 100% see ball groups running around and taking a 2 second pause to shield/heal while one or two cast this ability at people on oils and siege.
    Want to enjoy the game more? Try both PvP (crybabies) and PvE (carebears). You'll get a better perspective on everyone's opinion.

    Question is, does the knockback go though block?

    Also unless it can knock allies it ain't trolling, annoying to fight? Sure...but still a viable tactic rather than trolling

    True, but you can rep the doors and knock them off of keep walls a bit easier with this. The only surefire way to get rid of them without them turning it back towards other players is to limit the instances of the same heal to cap at 2-3 or every instance of the same heal cast on a player is reduced in power by a stacking 25% so each Vigor or Regen is useless after 4 instances.

    That wouldn't really be trolling. It would just be using a tool to gain an advantage in PVP by knocking players off things. Not like it isn't something that has already existed in the game that was used tactically.

    That being said, yeah, this seems a bit overtuned. But it would certainly be a potentially effective tool to breakup ball groups. Unfortunately, with a 2 second cast time, those ball groups that are moving CONSTANTLY, are literally not going to be in the same spot as where you started your cast at 2 seconds earlier.

    There is nothing wrong with that. Not used for trolling though it can be but more importantly that skill is strong in certain situations.

    Knockbacks in this game are already extremely buggy even in the best of cases. When there is lag you will probably get desynced by this skill and die without being able to cast any skills. You can see it in the video where the character floats for an extremely long time after being hit by the skill and passes through terrain. If they don't change it on PTS it will be removed within the next 1-2 patches due to all the complaining on the forums. This skill will not be fun to fight against.

    Also this skill can easily be used to troll other players in pve, scattering their pulls and rooting the mobs.

    Probably just needs to shorten range if this option is taken? So it can't be buffed by Reach and Propelling Shield.

    I'm just waiting for them to stipulate that scribing won't be usable in PVP. That's gonna be hilarious. Much easier than trying to balance the skills for PVP, that's for sure.

    If that happens whatever tiny populace is left in PvP will evaporate over-night.

    Also, none of the Scribing skills are all that imbalanced, just look at the referenced skill, it has a 2 second cast time. That’s 2 WHOLE seconds of being trapped lining the skill up and if you have to break away mid-animation to heal, you just lost a second of your GCD with nothing to show for it.

    This ability in general needs an earlier indicator. Right now the AoE indicator doesn't come until ~half a second before the ability goes off. This ability should both pull you out of stealth from initial cast and give a clear indicator at the start of the skill where it is going to go off.

    Otherwise this will be another nightblade gank ability or give very little opportunity to counterplay.

    I agree. Right now, the way it works is you target a location, then after finishing the cast you launch a projectile towards it. I assume this is when the indicator appears for enemies? It also makes it possible to hide behind obstacles while casting and even change the target that way by launching against a wall.

    I really like how dynamic it feels. But getting blasted with this with insufficient (or none, in the case of stealth) warning won't be fun at all.

    Hrm.... I think this form of trolling would be most effective on the types of players that like to gather and huddle in large groups. Not me, I'm fine with it.

    So this ability can also do Dawnbreaker of Smiting 10m AoE damage proccing 4 different status effects.

    Yes it would be cool to be a ball group separator but it really should be a clear indicator that this ability is going to go off.

    They already said all this new feature will be used in PVP. I agree they should not be included in PVP.

    Why do people want fun abilities to disappear from Scribing before it even reaches Live?

    No one cares if it gets nerfed a bit like smaller radius, or increased cost, or cannot be cast from stealth, etc. But removing it would be ridiculous.

    I'll test if it's blockable but since it's an AoE it may not be.

    Also the indicator only appears when the ability is in transit (like half a second). Not much time to properly react.
