I do crafting writs on all characters as its an easy way to get boxes. Also do the crow quests on characters who done IC and you get the easy options, saved up the junk monster parts for this. Else I do other stuff to get them like dolmens or guild dailies to level companions. The Jubilee event has always been about that: Get the tickets easy, then have fun with whatever you enjoy, almost everything gives you boxes, too. There's no real problem with that.

Yes, I do that as well, on all of my two characters.I do crafting writs on all characters as its an easy way to get boxes.
Sorry, what are crow quests and what is IC?Also do the crow quests on characters who done IC and you get the easy options, saved up the junk monster parts for this.

You missed my point. I'm already accumulating boxes, recipes, motifs, style pages, etc, just by farming dolmens. Doing daily quests for that is not very time-efficient if the whole point is accumulating as much stuff as you can. OTOH, if the point is just "playing the game", I do that everyday at my leisure.
My point is that, for a 10th anniversary event, there really is nothing special about it. No unique daily quest with a special unique reward like for example Turn the Page during the Secrets of The Telvanni event. That would have been fun.
The crow quests are probably in reference to the quests handed out by crows in Clockwork City. IC is Imperial City.Sorry, what are crow quests and what is IC?Also do the crow quests on characters who done IC and you get the easy options, saved up the junk monster parts for this.

New Life Festival on the other hand is probably more deserving of criticism now as it is one of the largest events of the year, yet has become kind of pointless to grind. Last year New Life felt like it was missing a lot to keep players around, and there was far less community spirit than previous years. Everybody just logged on for tickets and logged out.

in my opinion, the absolute worst event to get boxes for is the jester festival
i opened one purple jester box and got gold, a purple dazzler, a green dazzler, and one of those useless consumables such as the pie
literally nothing of value
new life festival is not far behind that though
