[ISSUE] I will likely not get enough Jubilee Confetti for mount

I thought of a good analogy for the confetti mount.

It's like ZOS has invited us to a birthday party and promised a birthday cake to celebrate us. Only we get to the party and it's a box of cake mix that we have to bake ourselves. Sure they provided the mix and even a warm oven. But, we have to buy the eggs ourselves if any of them end up cracked.

Yeah, on the one hand, free cake. But on the other hand, a chore is no way to celebrate a birthday.

I like to think of it more like going to a Birthday party, finding out it’s 8 hours long, and you also have to be there for the full eight hours to get any cake, and on top of that you are expected to chip in.

The Jubilee Confetti should have been made tradeable. Not everyone wants the mount and it's a shame to see that while those that don't will just have these fragments clogging up their inventory, those that do might not be able to collect enough in order to get it. As others have said though, players can always make up the shortfall by purchasing extra event tickets to buy the missing Jubilee Confetti.

I also think that it should only have taken 20 Jubilee Confetti to obtain the mount because the mismatch between the number of free Jubilee Confetti given in each daily golden reward box, and what the actual mount costs, will result in some players being caught out and not getting the mount because not everyone reads the news or announcements.

And you could argue that is on them and they should have made sure that they were better informed, but that is a bit mean and certainly not really in the spirit of a celebration.

    So just why?

Why have ZOS done it this way?

Was it really just to catch people out?

    This.
A celebration that is turned into a full-time job due to FOMO is not a celebration, but a full-time job of actions you would not normally do or even like - like camping a boss for hours, with 15 seconds of action every 5 minutes. Sounds like a lot of fun, just like a celebration, I guess.

For real, how did this get full-sent?

I get that most of the team are either wrapping up in Amsterdam or heading back to the office, was there really no one back at HQ that could increase the drop rates or fix the loot tables?

I collected 6 of the Jubilee Confetti up to today. I can buy 1 Jubilee Confetti additionally every day for the event tickets.

As it looks now I may not be online from May April 18th. So I've counted that I can obtain 16 Jubilee Confetti up to then bringing me to 22 Jubilee Confetti which is not enough for the mount. What can I do?

I fell asleep one night so forgot to collect. It's an impossible situation.

Why cannot we just trade the item 😭😭😭

Even if they did drop it down to sway, 18 or 20, there'd still be people that couldn't get it and thus be unhappy.

    You. Can't. Please. Everyone.

@Sakiri just make it tradable 🙏

Joke's on me, I missed several days of Anniversary Boxes because I was at the 10th Anniversary Event and simply too exhausted to log in and actually play. (I didn't even get the login rewards one day.)

Now, if these Confettis were tradeable, so people who didn't want them could sell them for lots of gold, then everyone would be happy.

one ticket = 250 crowns (pretty expensive for something that is actually free to earn but limited)

now this begs a second question, I wonder if the usual limit of 12 is in affect if you purchase them?

Could you purchase lets say 50. I do have a bunch of unused crowns from annual ESO+ purchases. I've not seen anything come along in a while I'd buy and at least there is not a RNG factor like those loathsome crown crates which I rarely decide to get.

The limit still exists if you buy tickets with crowns.

I’d be more upset if it didn’t have the Barbie hairstyle.

So...I'm wondering if I already screwed myself over with those confetti things? I've been consuming them whenever I get one every day, but it occurred to me that I have no way to figure out the count now, nor how many I've gotten up to this point.

But usually when you have to have X number of something all at once, it doesn't permit you to consume them one at a time, so is the game counting how many I've gotten, and when I reach 25 I'll get a pop-up? Or....not? Sheesh, this is annoying lol.
